Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated.
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

5.00Took my first ever helicopter ride with Maverick Helicopter Tours and it did NOT disappoint. At first, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant when I saw how young the pilot was, but that feeling disappeared fast. He was calm, confident, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The ride was incredibly smooth and his skill really showed. Seeing everything from that perspective was just wild. It’s one of those experiences that genuinely makes you stop and appreciate things differently. Absolutely a must-do at least once in your life. Highly recommend, easy 5 stars.

5.00Excellent tour with a fabulous pilot. Would highly recommend. The mid day flight to the Grand Canyon was very hot (101F) and interior of the helicopter, while air conditioned, was also warm. Dress appropriately. But the view of the canyon is unmatched!

4.00We took the Wind Dancer sunset helicopter tour. It’s good but pricey. Each helicopter holds seven passengers and that means four people are in the back and two of those are in the middle of the back with a limited view, They rotate seating at the half way point (on the floor of the canyon) and halfway back (at their refueling station) so everyone gets a shot at sitting up front but for sure it’s best to be up front first. They run an efficient business and all of the staff we encountered were professional and courteous. Our pilot was good and personable. We tipped him at the end and were disappointed to see that no one else did. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others.

5.00This is truly a unique way to experience the Grand Canyon. I have visited both the North and South rims of the Grand Canyon. This helicopter ride was to the West rim. The huge difference is how much you can see and the opportunity to be on the floor of the Grand Canyon and enjoy the view from inside the canyon. An unforgettable experience.

5.00Just WOW! What an incredible experience from start to finish, the tour is very well done with excellent pilots/tour guides who really make you feel like a VIP (shout out to Cole). Whilst the price might make you think twice, it’s worth every penny!
