Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated.
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

5.00This experience was definitely worth it! We traveled with two other couples who we were not with and each couple got the chance to sit up front. Our pilot Dayna was an absolute gem and so knowledgeable! The views from this trip were amazing and something I definitely recommend doing!

5.00This was the best experience of our entire trip. I had reservations due to a fear of helicopters and heights but honestly there is nothing to worry about. The pilot was professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There isn't a bad seat in the helicopter, the views are phenomenal regardless and our pilot did two stops (main and a refuel) where we all switched seats to ensure everyone got to experience the front seat. We had low winds at 8am flight and there was no notable turbulence, the ride was smooth and comfortable! It's obviously an expensive trip but worth every penny! You won't regret it! NB: as a plus size woman I had some concern about the process of being weighed but can confirm it's a very comfortable experience. You will be asked to stand on a scale at the check in counter but there is no display, noone says your weight and there was zero judgement so don't let that put you off!
