Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated.
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

5.00An enjoyable and unique experience. A great way to get away from the strip and see some natural wonders up close. The views of the Hoover Dam, the desert, and the Grand Canyon were excellent. Landing close to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was great. I had always wanted to hike to the bottom but never got the chance and this was the next best thing. I had seen the South Rim but the West Rim offers its own unique views and experiences. The pilot was excellent. He was low key, informative, and focused on both safety and his passengers' enjoyment of the experience. He circled around key sites so that passengers on different sides of the helicoper could get good photos. He suffled the group so that everyone got to sit in front and close to the windows to get the best views at some point. The cost is high, but still worth it in terms of the value of the unforgettable experience. We also cruised over the strip going out and returning. If you are prone to motion sickness be prepared. I used a patch and Dramamine and was fine, but could tell that without those aids it would not have been pleasant.

4.00Going to the Gran Canyon in helicopter is a great experience, I highly recommend. I however do not recommend the sunset upgrade. The sun was in our eyes the whole way back and there were no lights in Las Vegas which we were expecting. You pay extra for something you do not get.
