Amazing way to see the Grand Canyon, Maverick is a well run safe company. Price point was a bit high but the tours seemed to be full so I understand.

Exceptional Trip. My father was a highly awarded Vietnam Helicopter Pilot. Its been a while since he has flown a helicopter. We took him on this helicopter trip to give him some new memories. They have narration as you fly from Strip to Hoover Dam to Grand Canyon and its interesting. Absolutely beautiful trip. If you are over 200# they have to load balance the helicopter. I never made it to front seat because I'm 280# which disappointed me. It can be hard to see everything from the backseat because there are 8 seats (4+4) in these helicopters.

This was a great experience - our pilot chose my husband and I to sit up front first. First and third legs of the trip are the best times to sit up front - there isn't much to see on the second leg of the trip. Landing in the canyon is a real treat because you can truly appreciate the enormity of the Grand Canyon. Our pilot was knowledgeable and friendly. I've seen the Grand Canyon from our planes on our many trips out to Las Vegas, but the helicopter tour provides a much better experience. It's definitely worth it.

Great once (or twice) in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend. We were going to Las Vegas for a concert anyway and thought we could see the Grand Canyon for our first time while we were there. The bus tours we looked at were way too long as we were only staying 3 nights. The helicopter tour with Maverick Helicopters was perfect with the aerial views and the faster tour. It was breathtaking to see the wide span of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam from above. We landed in the Grand Canyon and got to explore for about 30 or so minutes. The sun was shining down so that was enough time. The pilot, Alex, brought us snacks, water and champagne to toast in the Canyon. Alex was great. Very experienced and skilled. We felt safe the whole time. I had a tiny bit of nausea but that dissipated once I got out of my head about being 5000 feet in the air. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Maverick Helicopters have an amazing track record and the whole experience confirmed that. The helicopter was well maintained. Alex explained everything. He ensured we were all buckled in and safe. There were 3 pairs of us and we took turns sitting in the front with him after each landing (once in the Grand Canyon and the second to refuel in the middle of the desert). Bottom line, Maverick is clearly a well run company where safety is paramount. Side note: Don’t forget your sunglasses. It’s very bright up there.
