We traveled from Las Vegas to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. You pass by the Hoover Dam on the way.(We stopped by there on the way back, but that's a different review) The trip takes about 2.5 hours, traveling mostly on interstate roads until the last hour. Prior to Hoover Dam, there is a roadside observation stop for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, which is worth the time. There are small towns along the rural route with numerous signs telling you to watch out for cattle. The cattle roam freely, and the homes are fenced in. En route to the West Rim, we passed through the Joshua Tree National Forest until we entered the Hualapai Indian Reservation. The Hualapai Tribe manages the West Rim attractions. After parking at the visitor center shuttle busses run every few minutes. We took the bus to Eagle Point. Home to great views, a restaurant that overlooks the Grand Canyon and their world famous Sky Bridge (which I will review separately) Bottom line: It's definitely worth the trip and the price of admission. The Hualapai people provide an amazing experience sharing their land's beauty with the world.

We have an unforgettable experience. We booked a Grand Canyon 4,5 h trip and we will never forget this incredible moment to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff is extremely kind and patient and take the time to explain and answer your questions. Special thanks to Ken the pilot who made it even greater explaining he history of each historical site while making us feel safe flying over the amazing mountains.

Very good flight out in the " old clunker ". Very good vis from all seats and Torie added to the fun with a well thought out sound track. Do ask for a discount if Forces or likewise as prices are negotiable

We had an outstanding experience with Papillon Helicopter from start to finish. Everything was perfectly on time, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable and excited the moment we arrived. A special shoutout to our captain Tucker who was professional, knowledgeable, funny and made the flight truly unforgettable. The ride was smooth, safe, and filled with amazing views, all thanks to an excellent pilot who clearly loves what he does. Highly recommend Papillon Helicopter for anyone looking for a first-class experience in the air.

Best ever life time experience and it is memorable. Mitch the pilot was very friendly and comfortable to talk with him. He explained every details and gave us enough time once we landed in the Grand Canyon. His experience is an asset to the company.

DO NOT BOOK ON THE PHONE! Absolutely awful experience. We were told things that didn't happen. Luckily, the airline called us this morning and upgraded us to what we thought we had booked. If you want to fly this tour (and I highly recommend it), call Papillon directly.

I had a very good flight with my wife and even though I was a nervous passenger it was ok. There was lots to see and the pilot who flew was a very knowledgable guy and was great for giving us a running commentary on where we were.

The flight was super smooth and beautiful. The pilot was informative and entertaining without being over bearing. We had great views long the way and got to see the Grand Canyon in a way we never have before. The exciting part is that this was my wife’ first adventure in a helicopter and she is still talking about days later. An awesome experience overall!
