This is hands down one of the best city excursions I have ever taken, and I have traveled around the world for the past 16 years after retiring. Lawrence is polite, amusing, informative, helpful and a delight. This is a must do!

Great small group tour of Vancouver highlights. Extra time spent at Stanley Park, Granville Island Public Market, and Gastown were definitely worthwhile. And the gelato stop was an added perk. Tour operator Mike Lawrence is a wealth of knowledge, and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.

This was a great way to get a taste of Vancouver. Well paced, very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and not too much walking although we did make several stops. They don't tell you in the description but you all will eat lunch together at a restaurant before you go see the public market. I assumed we would be given 'free time' to eat on our own at the market, which has tons of food stalls to choose from. Insist on seeing the ice cream palace at the end of the tour! Great tour overall. Loved it.

This was a perfect "first day" tour of Vancouver. It was just us and one other family, and Michael was a friendly and knowledgeable guide...it was almost like having a friend of a friend take you around town. We were picked up at our hotel, then drove through town a bit on our way to Stanley Park. Even though it was cold and rainy, we got to see a ton and found it very interesting. After a good amount of time in the park, we went to Granville Island and had lunch at The Sandbar (which was remarkably vegetarian friendly!). After lunch we did a quick walk through the public market where we bought far too many sweets, then we headed to the van and quickly saw Gastown and Chinatown. To finish things off, we stopped at La Casa Gelato (238 flavors, including balsamic vinegar!) and then headed back to our hotel. This was an excellent tour, and Michael was super friendly and knowledgeable. Before the tour we'd mentioned we were vegetarian and he reached out to see what we might need regarding that. After the tour he was happy to give us more recommendations about where to eat and what else to see. He really made this tour what it was.

Relaxing day touring Vancouver. We covered a lot of ground but never felt rushed like you sometimes do on group tours. Good mix of riding and walking. Riding allowed us to see a lot of Vancouver but appreciated stops to get out and explore so it wasn’t just a full day driving around. The tour was very informative but didn’t feel like someone reading from a script. Definitely would recommend.

This tour is worth every penny, and more. Michael Lawrence, our driver/guide and owner/operator is amazing. He has extensive knowledge of not only the tourist sites but the history, culture and ecosystem of the area. He is very professional and personable. It was just the right balance of touring in the van and getting out to walk around and take photos. He goes above and beyond. In fact we were with him for 5 hours, and we wanted more:) I would highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing tour! For 6 hours we toured around Vancouver seeing all the best sites. Our driver/tour guide/owner operator, Michael was the best part of the trip. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone more knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. We highly recommend this tour.

Very informative and entertaining at a great pace. Wished we were staying longer in Vancouver so that we could book another tour with Michael Lawrence. The man has so much to share and does it wonderfully.
