What To Expect
Lawrence Tours
After 10am pickup from your downtown hotel, you'll drive through Vancouver and westward toward Stanley park, the largest Urban Park in North America. Visit the totem park were your guide will explain the carvings and cultural notes throughout the park. There are natural wonders from 1000 year old trees to the great history of the area we proceed through the west end to Shaughnessy for the grand house viewing and arrive at the Granville island public market for lunch after our tour on the island we head to The Olympic village and Yaletown for a mix of modern and old before heading to fabulous Chinatown. Then head to Gastown, where your guide will explain Gassy Jack's story and how Vancouver became the major trading port it is today. If time allows we also have an option to visit the 238 flavor ice cream palace Le Casa, then back to your hotel and on the way your guide will mention a few good restaurants and other activities to complete your day.

5.00Probably the single best tour experience we’ve ever experienced ! Michael couldn’t have been more accommodating! Due to a missed flight (Air Canada mess up) we didn’t arrive in Vancouver till midnight and turned lights out at 2 am the night before our scheduled 10 am tour ! We spoke directly to Michael and explained the situation ! He arranged to pick us up at 11 am despite having another couple on the tour! So - it all worked out and it was a fantastic day ! Didn’t get back to our hotel till five pm - totally worn out but very happy. This tour was better than our entire cruise to Alaska ! A must do experience ! I told Michael that I’d like to publish his life story ! Everyone should do this tour ! You’ll never forget it or get a better introduction to a new city !

5.00Michael was very knowledgeable about the history of Vancouver. If you only have a few hours to tour the city this is the tour for you. Michael was both cordial and professional. We rode in a very comfortable van and stopped at several important points. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel on time. Very convenient.

5.00It was a very good tour and our driver/guide, Michael, was excellent. Our group was very small with four and it was so comfortable in the van sharing our experience. We had a great lunch at a Sandbar restaurant. We were fortunate that it was a sunny day in the low 80s. A beautiful city for sure.

5.00Excellent small group tour of Vancouver. Michael was knowledge and gave plenty of backstory and history throughout the tour. We stopped at an excellent restaurant for lunch and at an ice cream parlor with 238 flavors for dessert, and many of these were dairy free. What a bonus!

Not only did he make this tour everything that was expected, he went above and beyond to show us even more. He created a very friendly, informative, entertaining and enjoyable experience in a very comfortable, clean Mercedes van.
