A rainy day turned sunshine with Marcos and James. “There is no such thing as bad weather, only wearing the wrong gear.” My Dad is 81, I am 61 and we topped off our PNW road trip with an absolute exclamation point moment. Wearing a water jump suit, safety goggles in the rain, and the sun came out to turn the silver waterfall into a true Silver Lining. But the most important thing to wear for this zodiac adventure is an ear to ear smile. And Marcos was quick to capture a couple of our best ever pictures of a lifetime. Do something different. (And make sure to get some of those donuts. Ask Marcos or James for one.)

This was a brilliant trip. 3 hours of fun. Simon is a great guide and rib captain. We got to see lots of places with a 20 km round trip. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely wonderful! Captain Ray maneuvered the boat up close and personal so we could get great views for pictures. Very informative about the history of sights we stopped at.

It’s not too often that we take the time to slow down and just be a tourist in our own city. Today’s adventure with Captain Ray was fun, exhilarating, educational, stunningly beautiful and one heck of a wild ride! The perfect boating playlist fuelled our faster treks and the passion and pride of a place he calls home came through in Captain Rays knowledge of the history and ecosystem of the area. If you are looking for a reset with nature in the beautiful place we call home then do yourself a favour and take a ride on the wild side. You won’t be disappointed!

This trip is wonderful! The boat is very comfortable even over big waves. Our captain Marco was phenomenal, safely navigating through the port and through the huge wakes from ships. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and wildlife of Vancouver. Played great music and then brought us to the most spectacular serene pockets of untouched beauty. Don’t miss it!

Captains Sam and Greg (just there for his pretty face according to him) gave us a great tour with lots of informations about the history of the places we were visiting. The views were stunning, especially when we got into the Indian Arm fjord. We sat at the front for the best view, but at the price of having our buttocks tenderized when we started hitting bigger waves. Still a comfortable ride given the speed these boats can reach. If the day looks like it will be windy and lower than 20 degrees C, I recommend that you take the offered warm suit. They’ll lend you one for free and it makes all the difference. It also doubles as a floatation device. Also don’t spare on the sunscreen! The mix of sun and fast winds will cook you if you are sensitive. Anyway, highly recommend the adventure!

Although we were a bit early, we were kindly greeted and the staff made sure we knew what was going on. Paul shared great insight on Vancouver, the people, the geography, and the marine life. I am sure he has said many of these things several times over, however he still shared with a passion and charisma. A wonderful tour and we will happily take other tours with Water Adventures. If they recommend a suit, take it! It might seem silly standing at the dock but you will appreciate it as the tour continues.
