This flight includes views of beautiful Green Island and Fitzroy Island and on low tide, Vlasoff Sand Cay and Upolu Sand Cay. Sightings of manta rays, turtles and other marine life are not uncommon. If you're flying with us in the winter months, there is even a chance of spotting whales!

Weight Policy: Individual passenger weights and accompanying carry-on luggage MUST be advised at time of booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee. Maximum single seat payload of 130kg. For passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance, passengers exceeding 130kg are required to purchase an additional seat at 50% of ticket price - this is non-commissionable and payable to Nautilus Aviation on day of travel.
Infants 2 years and under travel free of charge when seated in the lap of a guardian

Child Policy: Children 3 years and above are legally required to be seated in their own seat and are therefore required to pay the full ticket price. Subject to conditions, children under 3 years may travel free of charge when seated on a parents/guardians lap. For bookings of more than one infant (under 3 years), conditions apply – please contact Reservations.
Tour and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air traffic control and availability
Refunds: Cancellation notice of 48 hours is required for a full refund claim and 24 -48 hours, for a 50% refund claim. No refund applies if booking is cancelled inside 24 hours.
Nautilus Aviation scenic flights are on a shared basis (not private)
all 30, 45 & 60 minute Scenic Flight bookings up to 6 passengers (1 Helicopter) will continue to depart from the Pier Heliport while all bookings for 7+ passengers. (2+ Helicopters) will now depart from our General Aviation Airport location.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to your departure for your pre-departure briefing. You'll then board the helicopter for your scenic flight.

5.00This one is definitely worth the splurge and was the Grand Finale for my week in Cairns! What an incredible experience seeing The Great Barrier Reef from above after snorkeling below. The 30-minutes passed in a flash! Everyone at the agency from check-in to getting us onboard was fantastic, and special thanks to pilot John Nelson! What a privilege riding shotgun next to you!!!

5.00Fabulous reef tour! I decided to go at the last minute after reading other reviews, and it was even better than I expected! I had a front row seat with all clear glass in front and below. Spectacular views! And the pilot did a nice job explaining what we were seeing.

5.00The views of the GBR were astonishing! The pilot narrated key features only and allowed us to absorb the beauty mostly in the quietness of the moment. Our tender from the ship was delayed and they kept our reservation open; thanks! This was our first helicopter ride and I researched the company before booking. I was very confident that our safety was their top priority.
