I had a wonderful time with Down Under Cruise & Dive! The staff were friendly and ensured absolute safety with their safety checks and careful instruction with both snorkelers and scuba divers. The crew were so patient and warm, especially the deck staff that helped with the snorkelers and I didn't know there was someone who took underwater photos to capture amazing moments with turtles, large groupers and other wildlife. I would highly recommend this group for an amazing experience at the Great Barrier Reef and would definitely book with them again!

I had a fantastic time on this tour—it was well-organized, informative, and full of memorable moments. The crew was knowledgeable and added a lot of depth to the experience. While it was definitely on the pricier side, the quality and overall enjoyment made it worth it. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enriching experience!

Best time and fun I had in Cairns. All the staff I came in contact with were kind and outgoing. I was given plenty of time to snorkel and do other activities. We were fed very well, and several people ate a lot… I had so much fun I could have booked this again the next day. Thank you Mike for helping me get that helicopter ride. The view from the sky was amazing !!

Great crew but beware harsh conditions 🙀. The helicopter is worth it. Weather on the trip was windy rainy and rough seas. Lots of passengers were sea sick.

The outer reef locations were colorful with lots of fish. The boat ride was a little bumpy so if you are prone to seasickness, buy the seasick pills once on board and take one right away. Take the other one before the return journey. They only cost $3. While there are a large number of people on these tours, the boat and staff handle the everything efficiently - just listen to the instructions and you will be fine. Getting into the water easy and wasn’t too crowded except at the beginning at the first reef (everyone was excited to get in). The snorkeling was a little crowded in the water at first until everyone spread out. The was plenty of time in the water at each location and most people were out of the water before they called everyone in. There are bathrooms on board that did have waiting lines in between reefs but it wasn’t a long wait. They have a bar and sell beers and non-alcoholic beverages. The coffee, tea and muffins were nice in the morning and the lunch provided was quite good and there was plenty of for everyone. They do provide stinger suits and have some prescription mask options. Overall, we loved this trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
