We accidentally misread Google Maps and were running late, but he patiently waited for us and made sure we could still board the bus. Throughout the tour, Peter kept us informed about the itinerary and shared helpful insights at every stop.   Rhys was an informative and well-organized guide. He shared interesting facts throughout the tour and kept everything running on schedule, making sure we were able to see all the highlights of the Great Ocean Road.   We had an absolutely fantastic time on our Great Ocean Road tour, all thanks to our incredible guide, Rhys! He has a brilliant sense of humor that instantly reminded me of Matthew Perry from Friends—he kept the mood light and fun the entire day. What really set Rhys apart was his incredible depth of knowledge. His commentary was far more detailed and rich than other tours I’ve taken before. He shared so much fascinating local history and added plenty of interesting facts, showing just how professional and passionate he is. I truly loved listening to him speak. Rhys was also exceptionally well-prepared. Right at the start of the trip, he showed us that the vehicle was fully equipped for emergencies, complete with first-aid supplies and motion sickness bags, which gave us immense peace of mind. He was also very diligent about reminding everyone to buckle up for safety. I was particularly impressed by his high emotional intelligence and thoughtfulness. There were two girls sitting right next to me who spoke in very high-pitched, sharp voices throughout the trip. While they weren't trying to be disruptive, their tone made it impossible to ignore and difficult to hear the commentary. I was so grateful that Rhys handled the situation so gracefully—he politely asked them to hold their conversation while he was explaining the sights, allowing the rest of us to finally hear his great stories. Another detail I absolutely loved was the music he played in the car. Every single song on his playlist was amazing and matched the breathtaking scenery of the Great Ocean Road so perfectly, making the drive even more enjoyable. On top of that, his driving skills are top-notch. The winding roads on the way back can be rough, but Rhys drove so smoothly with absolutely no sudden braking or sharp jerks. It was a massive upgrade from my past tour experiences, and combined with the pleasant music, I was able to sleep soundly the whole way back.   We’re from Manila, Philippines my friends and I had this The Great Ocean Tour with Go West tours. We had an amazing trip especially with our energetic, with good sense of humour and very knowledgeable guide, Michael. He showed us around, gave us photo stops and informations like the habitat of kangaroos, koalas, King parrots and the like. The duration of the tour is perfect.   Pretty much a horrible experience. The tour operator had signs all over the bus to contact him with any comments or issues and he would respond. I wrote him a detailed complaint and never heard from him. The driver was a maniac. The bus was very uncomfortable and the way he drove made multiple people physically sick. He was more interested in just checking off that he got us to all the stops on the itinerary. For example one of the stops for lunch was lovely and would have been nice to tour around, but we were rushed back to get onto the bus. We made another stop for dinner but the town was a virtual ghost town and we spent over an hour there with nothing to do. We were supposed to see all sorts of wildlife and koalas. We saw one koala in a tree. The driver played some kind of awful rap music that gave me a headache. When I asked him to change the channel to something a little more relevant to the ages of the group, he bit my head off and lectured me about the driver’s prerogative for the music. But my main complaint was the bus. It would have been appropriate transportation for a group of 10 year olds but the seats were very close together and even at my modest height my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me. My 6’ husband was very uncomfortable.
