I usually travel solo and plan my own itinerary. However, I wanted to see as much of the natural area around Melbourne as possible in a very short span of time. This trip was 10/10 for me. The group size was not too large, we had a total of 18. The youngest was an 18 yo oldest was an 84 yo. The Itinerary was such that it didn’t matter how old the person was they could still participate as little or as much as they want. Our tour guide, J-dog, was absolutely wonderful. She was sincere, enthusiastic, kind, and so much fun. The itinerary was jam-packed, but I felt the amount of time that was dedicated to each activity was appropriate. The food was mostly at restaurants with a home style BBQ one night. I would highly recommend this tour and would go with Wildlife Adventures again. My travel end up back in Melbourne, our driver was Bones. What a great a guy, I could see he would have been a fun guide as well. So if you want you don’t have a week to dedicate to seeing these sights, consider this tour for sure!

This tour may well be the best run and most enjoyable excursion we have ever been a part of. Our tour to the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians National Park began on Feb 15th. On Feb 14th, very sadly, the Grampians region was hit by a wind storm and powerful thunderstorms which tore up trees and ignited forest fires with many homes lost as the region dealt with one of it's biggest emergencies in years. In the hours leading up to the beginning of the tour we received an email advising us that the situation regarding our itinerary was very fluid and that visiting the Grampians would likely not be possible. Our incredible guide, Janet "J-Dog" Archibald, in consultation with Wildlife Tours took this bag of lemons that fate had handed us and made the best lemonade ever. She recast this setback as an opportunity to explore some locations that we would not normally have time to see. Janet knows the state of Victoria like the back of her hand and we were all swept up by her enthusiasm as she told story after story and got us to amazing locations with time to explore at length. By the end of the first day our group had become the best of friends and this tour was the highlight of our time in Australia. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Janet. On day three we were joined by Chris who also knows his stuff and made our trip memorable.

Had an awful experience with them and their customer service is terrible also. Go with any other company other than this one.

For the amount you pay for a family and after that being split up at night to accommodate solo travellers, separate couples!!! .. not worth it. Rent a car and do it on your own. It will cost you a fraction of this, you will see more things and eat better ( you have to pay most of your meals anyways) and you won’t have to be charged extra for nothing! Btw, hurry up at breakfast.. they might run out of bread!! And if you encounter a problem, Viator won’t be there to help you!

Just got back from the 3 day tour of the Great ocean road and the grampians. I would definitely not recommend doing any less than this as the 2 day tour missed out on a great hike in the grampians. Our tour guide Peter was great with loads of knowledge and a very chilled vibe so that it didn’t feel like we were on a school trip. Some bits of the tour are a bit rushed but that’s to be expected on such a quick turn around. I would definitely recommend this tour !!

Nearing the end of our 3 day Great Ocean Road Trip and it has been the best 2 days! The itinerary is well organised and very carefully planned. The stops along the way are magnificent. There really is no better way to see all the sights along the Great Ocean Road and to experience The Grampians other than take this tour. It's a great way to meet people too! Our tour guide Darren has been the best bit about this trip. He takes such great care in his work and really wants everyone to have such a great time. His voice is very calming on the microphone, perfect if you're in the middle of taking a nap on the bus. Most of all, I love all his nuggets of information. He is very informative and obviously has extensive knowledge on the geography of the area, plant life, animal life, indigenous people and local knowledge too. He makes the tour very engaging! I also appreciate the effort he puts in to organise breakfast/lunch/ dinner. A++ for Darren!!

All the places along the Great Ocean Road including the 12 Apostles and the Grampians itself, the views were breathtaking, and it was a good break away from the busy city life. I would recommend going for the 3 days 2 night as it makes your overall trip worthwhile, Special shout out to my guide - Guy, very knowledgeable about the history and had lots of fascinating stories to share that made the journey on the road more enjoyable. Great opportunity to meet new people along the way as well.

If you love bone-jarring, dirty buses, and not being given enough time to enjoy sights that are truly breath-taking, this is the trip for you. Paying 34 for a room upgrade the first night was okay. Being upgraded without being asked the second night might have been okay if they had mentioned ahead of time that it was going to cost me an extra 100 for an uncomfortable room and with shower temps that ranged quickly from comfortable to frigid with no warning. Can't say I was thrilled about being dropped off in sweltering heat several blocks short of the previously-agreed upon location either. Anyway, in hindsight, I would have rented a car or selected a different tour company.
