Why follow the crowd when you can flip the script? Our award-winning reverse itinerary tour from Melbourne takes you on a wild and wonderful adventure along the Great Ocean Road – backwards! That means more sights, fewer people, and a whole lot more fun.
We kick things off by heading inland straight to the Twelve Apostles –jaw-dropping views and fresh morning light perfect for photos. From there, we explore the stunning Shipwreck Coast, hitting up Loch Ard Gorge, The Razorback, Gibson Steps, and of course, the iconic Apostles.
Then, we switch gears and head into nature with a peaceful rainforest walk through ancient, towering trees.
On the way back, we cruise the coast through charming towns like Apollo Bay and Lorne. And yes – we guarantee wild koala sightings, plus a good chance of spotting kangaroos bouncing through the bush.
So if you're after a laid-back, wildlife-packed, photo-worthy adventure that skips the stress and doubles the fun–this is the tour for you.

Wow what a day!! Glen our driver was awesome and very knowledgeable. So many stops and never felt rushed. We had 10 people on tour and it was great to learn about where they all came from.

Absolutely outstanding trip from start to finish. Ann was a superb guide who provided great knowledge with clarity and humour. She undoubtedly went out of her way to ensure we captured not only the specified stops on day but also Koala and Kangaroo spotting. Needless to say we managed to see both. Thanks so much Mark, Judith and family.

Peter was fabulous in all that he did! He made every stop fantastic. He is these tour guide we’ve had out of 15+ tours. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed the animals — kolas and Kangaroos.

Once in a lifetime experience! Kevin was a fantastic guide and driver. The gorges and Apostles were magnificent. We also got to see Koalas closeup in the trees, and a mob of kangaroos. The most surprising part was the walk thru the primordial rainforest. It was incredible!

This is a must do tour when traveling to Melbourne. Peter was so enthusiastic and you could feel his love for the area and sharing his knowledge for the places he was taking us. The scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking. We were able to find wild koalas and kangaroos. It was a most delightful day.
