  This was one of the best tours I've ever taken in all the 72 countries I've visited. Bluey did a fabulous job as the driver/tour guide. So informative and really fun personality.   My niece and I very much enjoyed our day on this tour with Raquel. Raquel was super-friendly and super-helpful. Once the group was complete, Raquel made a point of inviting people to let her know whether there was anything she could do to improve our day (e.g., turn the AC up, down, whatever). She provided an interesting narrative in the course of the day. At our first stop on the Great Ocean Road, she provided delicious refreshments (cake, tea, and coffee). At our lunch stop, she provided pretty comprehensive restaurant recommendations -- leading me to have the best passionfruit flavored ice cream at a place called Dooley's in the little town where we stopped. The various stops made for a very interesting day. I enjoyed Raquel's account of the building of the Great Ocean Road, the 12 Apostles, and the man and the woman shipwrecked at a site (maybe called Shipwreck Beach?) nearby. We were lucky enough to see a koala in a roadside area on our way to the 12 Apostles. We also enjoyed a short stop at a rain forest. At the end of the day, Raquel was very flexible with our drop off locations. She dropped one couple near a restaurant where they wanted to eat and dropped my niece and me off at our hotel, even though it was not one of the official pick-up/drop-off spots. I went on a Phillips Island tour with another company the next day. The stops on that trip were great, but I wish Raquel had been our guide on that other tour too. The seats on the Go West bus were also much more comfortable than the seats on the other company's bus for our Phillips Island excursion. So I'm a Go West fan, and a Raquel fan.

  I joined a one-day tour to the Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. Our guide and driver, Mel, was fantastic from start to finish. She was cheerful, funny, and incredibly engaging, making the long road journey feel enjoyable and lively. She even had a great music playlist that kept the vibes up throughout the drive. At the same time, she was very considerate—giving us plenty of time to rest, along with well-timed toilet breaks along the way. The itinerary was well-paced and never felt rushed. We had sufficient time at each stop to explore and take in the views, along with a comfortable lunch break. Mel even went the extra mile by bringing us for dinner after the tour, which was a thoughtful touch. A lovely bonus was the homemade cakes she prepared for breakfast—such a warm and personal gesture that we really appreciated. One of the highlights of the trip was spotting wildlife along the way—we were lucky enough to see a wild koala and even an echidna, which made the experience even more special. What stood out most was her energy and enthusiasm, which she maintained all the way until the end of the trip. It truly made a difference to the overall experience.   We had a fantastic experience on the Go West Tours Great Ocean Road Classic Day Tour. Our guide, Rheys, made the entire journey memorable with his energy, knowledge, and sense of humor. It’s a long, full-day trip, but the pacing was well thought out with plenty of stops to stretch your legs and take in the scenery. The coastal views were stunning, and the transition into the rainforest added a completely different, lush atmosphere to the day. Along the way, we spotted a variety of native birds and even a koala, which was a real highlight. Walking along the beach and through the rainforest gave us a chance to truly experience the landscape up close. Rheys kept things entertaining throughout—his best Crocodile Dundee impression while attempting to call up some kangaroos was a fun touch, even if they had already turned in for the evening. His enthusiasm and effort didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, this is a fast-paced but incredibly rewarding tour that covers a lot of ground and showcases some of Australia’s most beautiful natural sights.   This was a long day but well-planned. There were several stops to break up the trip. Out guide Robbo (who was also the driver) was great. He gave us good, interesting info. He kept all 22 of us on time. I liked that we had lunch and dinner options and were on our own for that. The sites especially the 12 Apostles is well worth the long day. We also saw wild koalas and kangaroos.

  We had a fantastic tour with Go West Tours! David N was our guide and driver and is amazing in every way during our tour. Please note: Do Not Book With TripAdvisor! They have inaccurate information about the tour length and pick up times! Book directly with Go West Tours. We wasted an hour at the hotel pick up spot and had we booked directly with Go West we would have saved time! Fantastic tour! Highly recommended!!

  This was a wonderful tour with Raquel, who is the best tour guide ever!! She’s very interesting and very informative!! A long day, but there is so much to see and lots of stops and cool walks! It flew by! Tip: if there is an option to sit at the front beside her, do that! Best seat on the bus, for sure :)
