A memorable tour of the 12 apostles and the great ocean road

5.00We did the reverse tour which was ideal because of the less crowds at the 12 apostles. It also great that we are a small group so that we moved along quickly giving us time to go through our planned itinerary for the day. The day was filled with different stops that offered scenic views of the ocean and the different rock and limestone formations as we went along the memorial ocean road. We loved the side trip to melba gully - a refreshing short hike through a cool rainforest. Our driver and tour guide, Peter, did a fantastic job in keeping us well informed with interesting historical, natural & trivial information as we navigated our way along our route, with good recommendations for breakfast & lunch. A visit to the chocolate factory and Ice cream shop was the best stop to end our full day tour.

4.00Great trip with excellent stops with great views of the ocean and the corresponding rock formations. We got to see Kangaroos and Koalas in the wild and got some great pictures. The rain forest walk was great. We saw many large trees and exotic plant life. The walk was not to strenuous. The bus was full but comfortable. The lunch stop had great food with many options. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable but failed to keep us on time as a result we finished 45 minutes past expected finish time.
