Wildlife: Explore varied habitats and spot herds of bison, pronghorn antelope, and mule deer. Birding: Antelope Island is a birding paradise. We'll look for species like American avocet, bald eagles, and burrowing owls. Wetlands and salt flats attract migratory birds year-round. Photography: Capture dramatic landscapes and wildlife. Your guide offers tips on composition and technique. Ecological Insights: Learn about the lake’s high salinity and it's impact on local flora and fauna. Buffalo Point: If you're up for a short hike, we'll visit one of the most panoramic vistas in the Great Salt Lake! Note: Biting gnats may be present April–May, with more time spent in the vehicle, but you won’t miss the sights or wildlife. Adventure Awaits!

5.00First time in SLC and I found Clayton through Viator. I had a great private tour of Antelope Island, hike and amazing views. Clayton was professional, knew the ecology well & shared his passion for the environment. Highly recommend Safari Utah.

5.00Clayton gave us an excellent tour of Antelope Island! He was very knowledgeable about the history and animals on the island. He identified all types of birds and even knew the names of all the stomachs of a bison! He had a comfortable, clean vehicle and let us view the island at a leisurely pace. We were glad to have such a nice local show us around and definitely recommend Safari Utah!

5.00Really fantastic knowledge of the geology and history of the region, plus deep knowledge of the animals which added to the experience. Very relaxed trip with nice clean car and good chats throughout the experience. Amazing views were all helped by the insights from a guide who really knows his stuff. There was only one other person so nice, small group which added to the personal touch.

5.00My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Antelope Island Safari with Safari Utah on October 8th, and it exceeded every expectation. This tour was the highlight of our Salt Lake City vacation! Our host, Clayton, made this experience truly exceptional. From start to finish, he was informative, knowledgeable, kind, funny, and incredibly patient with all our questions. His passion for Antelope Island and the Great Salt Lake was contagious, and we learned so much about the area's geography, history, environment, and ongoing conservation efforts. Clayton has a gift for making complex topics accessible and engaging. As an avid photographer, I was thrilled that Clayton went above and beyond to ensure I had plenty of opportunities to capture stunning shots of the wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. He knew exactly where to stop and when to pause, giving us time to truly appreciate the scenery and take it all in. He was also incredibly thoughtful about our comfort throughout the tour, making sure we had convenient stops for facilities and snacks. The tour itself was perfectly paced and comprehensive. We saw incredible wildlife, learned fascinating facts we never would have discovered on our own, and left with a deep appreciation for this unique ecosystem. The memories and photographs we brought home are priceless. 5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clayton was absolutely outstanding! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the entire tour. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience — finding the best picture-perfect spots and pointing out so much wildlife we never would have noticed on our own. His passion and enthusiasm made the tour both educational and fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide — truly a 10/10 experience!
