We did this tour with Sinead and we were both thoroughly impressed! The personal attention and knowledge that she gave us was second to none. The island is beautiful and we saw what felt like hundreds of bison and dozens of antelope. We even had a herd migration happen right towards us, spectacular! We would do it again. Sinead is an absolute pleasure of a guide.

I went on this tour solo and also ended up being the only person on the tour for the day! I was a little nervous about it being awkward but it was not at all. Sinéad made me feel so comfortable and the tour was amazing! She was a wealth of knowledge on the animals we saw, the history of the island and the lake. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting SLC!

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Sinéad, was great! She is very knowledgeable about all things related to the history and wildlife of Antelope Island. I learned far more than I could have imagined. She made us feel right at home, was very easy to talk to, and provided us with a pleasant and enjoyable experience. From this tour we saw and learned about several types of animals on the island, including many herds of bison and their newborns! We also saw various species of birds, antelope, vegetation, and stunning lakes surrounded by breathtaking mountains. The scenery is unforgettable and we took gorgeous photos to enjoy for years to come. Definitely a great experience and I highly recommend this team!

I had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of Antelope Island, and it was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Salt Lake! From start to finish, the tour was engaging, informative, and breathtaking. The island itself is stunning, offering sweeping views of the Great Salt Lake, rolling hills, and plenty of wildlife. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the history and ecology of the area. We learned so much about the local wildlife, including bison, antelope, and various bird species. Seeing these animals up close was a real treat, and the guide made sure we had plenty of time to take in the sights and snap photos. The landscapes on Antelope Island are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The hiking trails were well-maintained, and the views from the higher points of the island were simply incredible. Whether you’re into hiking, photography, or just enjoying nature, there’s something for everyone here. What made this tour truly special, though, was the personalized touch. The group size was perfect—not too big, so we felt like we had time for questions and to enjoy the beauty of the island without feeling rushed. The tour also included a visit to the historic Fielding Garr Ranch, which added a wonderful historical context to the natural beauty of the place. If you’re looking for a memorable outdoor experience near Salt Lake, I can’t recommend Antelope Island enough. It’s an incredible mix of nature, wildlife, and history. Don’t miss it!

My family and I had a great half-day trip to Antelope Island with Clayton. Communication was great. He reached out when en route to pick us up and upon arrival at our downtown hotel. Clayton is well prepared with local knowledge (human history, geology, fauna, and flora). He also provided binoculars for viewing all the wildlife (including bison, antelope, jackrabbits, burrowing owls, plus a bunch of other bird species). We also lucked out and got to see some brand new baby bison that had just been born that morning. Clayton also had head nets we could wear against the no-see-bugs or gnats. The bugs weren't terrible, but having the head nets on when we stopped and walked around at points of interest made it more comfortable. This was our first time in SLC, and we only had one full day. Clayton provided a great morning excursion and had us back in SLC in time for us to grab lunch and do some additional exploring around town on our own. I highly recommend booking a trip with Safari Utah for a well-prepared and knowledgeable tour of Antelope Island.

Our family of four, including two teenagers, had a terrific experience on our Antelope Island tour with Sinead. Everything was first class, from the convenient pickup location that worked best for us to the drop-off at the end of the tour. Sinead was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and flexible, tailoring the experience to our interests and keeping everyone in our family engaged throughout the trip. We did the 1:00 tour and were lucky to see many baby buffalo that had just been born, along with bison up close and other wildlife and birds. The views were incredible, and we truly appreciated her willingness to capture so many amazing photos for our family. She was kind, thoughtful, and made the entire experience feel special from start to finish. The head-protecting nets were a total game changer and made it even more enjoyable. Thank you again, Sinead, for such a memorable and special experience. This was truly a wonderful trip that our family will always remember fondly.

This was one of the best tours we’ve ever been on! The guide’s knowledge of everything was amazing. Animal life, island history, area geographic history, SLC history, information on the Great Salt Lake and its issues. I will be recommending this tour to any of my friends and acquaintances who visit here and I hope you will too.

My wife and I had a terrific experience on our Antelope Island tour with Sinead. Everything was first class from the pickup at our hotel to the drop off at the end of the tour. It was a small group, very personal and well suited to our interests. We did the sunset tour, so we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset in addition to seeing bison up close as well as other wildlife and birds. This tour was truly something special and we will always remember our experience fondly.
