This is a fabulous tour and just what I was looking for - full of scenery and wildlife, including birds. The owner and guide Clayton led our tour; he is a super-knowledgeable guide who can easily talk to whatever questions and interests the people on his tour have. Even without specific questions, he was able to share so much information about the area - its past and present, and all the flora and fauna of the area - keeping us entertained and learning. I highly recommend this tour!

If you’re looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience in Utah, the bison safari excursion on Antelope Island is an absolute must. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The landscape alone is breathtaking—wide open spaces, rugged mountains, and sweeping views of the Great Salt Lake create a setting that feels both peaceful and wild. The highlight, of course, was seeing the bison up close. Watching these incredible animals roam freely in their natural habitat was both humbling and awe-inspiring. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the island’s ecosystem and history, which made the experience even more meaningful. They shared fascinating insights about the bison, wildlife behavior, and the unique environment of the island. The entire excursion felt well-organized, safe, and immersive without ever feeling rushed or overly commercialized. It struck the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or just looking for something different to do, this safari is an unforgettable way to connect with Utah’s natural beauty. Highly recommend—this is one of those experiences you’ll be talking about long after it’s over.

The tour by Clayton was absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed the tour and it definitely made my trip to Salt Lake City so much better :) I learnt a lot about different aspects of both the city and the Great Salt Lake that I had no idea of before, which made my overall trip much more interesting, including the wildlife, geography and life in Salt Lake! Clayton was able to provide really interesting facts and answered all the questions we asked - clearly an expert on the area!! Even more importantly, you could tell he cared about the area and not negatively disrupting the wildlife whilst giving us great views. As someone who didn’t know that much about life in the US, Clayton was happy to answer all the questions asked, no matter how obvious! We saw incredible views on the route taken to and during Antelope Island, and most importantly the we saw an incredible variety of Salt Lake wildlife! It was like nothing I’d seen before in the UK and was certainly a highlight of the trip. Thank you again to Clayton for being so hospitable, friendly and a great tour guide!! Moreover, thank you for the complimentary coffee :)

I booked a 4-hour wildlife tour on Antelope Island. The Viator site made it a little more complicated than it needed to be to establish a pick-up point (the available options are all downtown hotels, we were staying with friends), but I was able to message someone to get it taken care of. Plenty of communication leading up to the sightseeing tour. Clayton was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We saw shore birds, burrowing owls, prong horned antelope, a great horned owl on the Garr Ranch, and of course a lot of bison. We got plenty of good pictures, and the hike up to Buffalo Point was easy enough. Great views at sunset!

Sinead was an outstanding guide from start to finish. Her wildlife knowledge was impressive — she spotted bison, birds, and more while sharing fascinating facts about the Great Salt Lake’s ecology and history. The hike to the peak was a blast, with Sinead keeping the energy up and the information flowing the whole way. If you’re visiting Antelope Island, a tour with Sinead is an absolute must. You’ll leave knowing so much more about this incredible place!

This experience is a rare opportunity to become immersed in the beauty of the mountains, bison, pronghorn antelope, and Salt Lake. Clayton, our guide, is an amazing resource for learning about the history, geology, and animals of the area. It was the best part of my trip to Salt Lake City.

This was an amazing experience! Clayton knows so much about the geology, history, and animals of Utah and this area. What was particularly striking to me is that Clayton has a spiritual connection to the land and the importance of conservation. He has wonderful people skills. He created an environment of kindness and friendship among the group. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me.
