The Great Wall at Badaling
Great Wall is the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure. Since Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) and Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), Badaling became a very important military strategic place Many incomplete parts of the wall were proved to be built in the Warring States Period. Here you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall.
Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. Only three of the tombs are actually open for viewing. Changling, the earliest and largest of the tombs, dates from the year 1413. We will explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate, impressive courtyards.

My guide Murphy was great. He was super friendly, very accommodating, and social throughout the entire trip. The driver arrived and was waiting for me outside my hotel ahead of schedule. He was also a great driver. Very safe. As a solo traveler, this was the best way to see what I wanted to see. It was worth the price. Thank you.

It was an amazing day made all the better with our great guide Michael Shi. We were able to utilize a cable car which made the trip to the top of the wall possible for my 86 year-old mother. Truly a bucket list item! The Ming Tombs and a wonderful buffet lunch as well as a welcome stop to learn more about jade as well as a tea ceremony completed a full and fulfilling day.

Went with the tourguide Mary and 4 other nice people I just met. The tour is worth the time. Mary managed to get us ahead of the other tours, so we could enjoy some good moments in relative privacy before the other tours were populating the places.

Mary was very knowledgeable on the history of the wall and stops along the way. She is very patient and answered all our questions. She kept us in the loop on where we were going and how long we had to explore on our own. I would be this trip again recommend to anyone looking for this trip

Had a really good tour with Michael Ren! It felt a private tour with only 2 people late season which was great. Special access making things run smoothly and overall an easy, enjoyable and educational experience.

I am over 60 years old and should get refund on the admission fees both for Great Wall and Ming tomb the guide took my passport to the ticket office and he got it but refused to refund to me I asked Micharl Shi the guide and he said it is their policy not ton refund and keep it as their company profit I found this is ridiculous as I was in Shanghai and going with similar tour when the guide knew that I am senior over 60 he got the refund of admission of rmb 40 or so The money is not a big issue yet the integrity is I hope your management can pay attention to this

Mary was an amazing tour guide — honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. She was so warm and easy to talk to, and you could tell she really loved what she was doing. She shared so many interesting stories and little local details that we’d never have discovered on our own. It felt less like a guided tour and more like spending the day with a friend who just happens to know everything about the place.
