The Great Wall at Badaling
Great Wall is the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure. Since Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) and Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), Badaling became a very important military strategic place Many incomplete parts of the wall were proved to be built in the Warring States Period. Here you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall.
Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. Only three of the tombs are actually open for viewing. Changling, the earliest and largest of the tombs, dates from the year 1413. We will explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate, impressive courtyards.

We had very good trip to the wall of china. Mary peovided a great overview on the drive to the wall and helped us understand the history. At the wall, she navigated us thru the various sections and provided the history and details of the construction. She was very helpful and. Very knowledgeable. I would love to come back to Beijing and use the tournaerives with her. Thanks Bala

Badaling Great Wall: The most classic section with the best accessibility (high-speed train direct), complete facilities. Ideal for first-time visitors prioritizing convenience to quickly experience the Great Wall's grandeur. Mutianyu Great Wall: Boasts stunning scenery and high vegetation coverage, with multiple cable car/ropeway options. Fewer tourists than Badaling, suitable for families and those seeking a comfortable experience. Its night view is also distinctive. Jiankou Great Wall: An unrestored "wild Great Wall" with precipitous and magnificent original features. Perfect for hikers and travelers pursuing niche experiences (stay safe and travel in groups). Simatai Great Wall: Well-preserved ancient appearance, connected to Gubei Water Town. Offers a unique "Great Wall + water town" combination with brilliant night views. Ideal for visitors wanting to balance natural scenery and cultural experiences.

Bruce Lee was an exceptional tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, well-organized, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience, answered every question, and kept the tour engaging the whole time. This tour wouldn’t have been the same without him — highly recommended!

Had an amazing day exploring the Great Wall and Ming Tombs. The views on the wall were breathtaking, and our tour guide Michael Shi was really knowledgeable and could answer any question that we asked. The Ming Tombs were also fascinating, and we also had a tea ceremony before we being dropped back at my hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the Great Wall!

Strange and bad tour. You get what you pay for. I did a tour with Jenny. She wasn't mean, but she was pushy in weird ways. She asked us if we wanted to go see an acrobatics show after the tour, and we said no, but she kept bringing it up. Maybe 10 more times (not exaggerating), she brought up the show and how she thought we should go, and we kept saying no, but it took a very long time to convince her that we didn't want to do it. She was also pushy in other ways too, but I can't remember anymore - writing this review a few days later. You can definitely visit the wall for a great price on this tour, but there's a good chance you won't vibe with the tour guide who takes you there.
