What To Expect
The Great Wall at Badaling
Great Wall is the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure. Since Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) and Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), Badaling became a very important military strategic place Many incomplete parts of the wall were proved to be built in the Warring States Period. Here you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall.
Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. Only three of the tombs are actually open for viewing. Changling, the earliest and largest of the tombs, dates from the year 1413. We will explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate, impressive courtyards.

5.00Mary was knowledgeable and kind. She was flexible and answered all of my questions. She saw that I was struggling and understood when I said I didn’t want to keep going on the Great Wall at under 0 degrees. The windchill made it even more bitter cold. She was thoughtful and kept us as warm as possible while giving me the VIP treatment. This was a fun day and well worth the money.

5.00We went to the great Wall with our Tourguide Micheal Ren and two other people. It was a very pleasent Trip and we were able to talk and ask alot of questions. We also saw the Ming Tombs and we got free Lunch.

5.00It was very good to be in Mary’s tour. The access to the Great Wall of China was the best and we didn’t waste any time during the day. You make a stop at a tea tasting and shop and a Jade bangle shop where they show you what is for sale. We enjoyed the lunch.

5.00A pleasant tour, we were conducted by guide Michael Shi, who has a lot of knowledge in history, nice conversation, speaks well English He cared about everything, tickets, show us the best places to photograph, on the route was included a lunch with many dishes and a visit to a Jade engraving atelier, we were also guided by Michael to the Emperor's Tomb! A wonderful experience.
