What To Expect
The Great Wall at Badaling
Great Wall is the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure. Since Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) and Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), Badaling became a very important military strategic place Many incomplete parts of the wall were proved to be built in the Warring States Period. Here you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall.
Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. Only three of the tombs are actually open for viewing. Changling, the earliest and largest of the tombs, dates from the year 1413. We will explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate, impressive courtyards.

5.00Had an amazing day visiting the Great Wall at Badaling and the Ming Tombs. Our guide Michael Ren made the whole experience special, he was knowledgeable, well-organized, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the history of each site. We also stopped at a jade factory and in the evening enjoyed a tea ceremony, which were great additions to the day. Michael kept the pace comfortable, gave us plenty of time to explore and take photos, and was always happy to answer questions. Highly recommend this tour and especially requesting Michael Ren as your guide. Almost no crowds at The Grate Wall, so plenty of space to take photos. Five stars!

5.00I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour with our guide Judy. We got plenty of time on the great wall to see and enjoy the sights and the explanations at the jade factory were fascinating. Lunch was delicious and Judy did a fantastic job of guiding us through the whole day with plenty of information about Beijing and its history - particularly when it came to the Ming tomb. The group was very small (only four of us) so it felt very personal and not rushed at all.

5.00Had a trip with Ms Jennier and Mr Wang (Driver) to Bataling great wall (route 3) on a off peak day. Great planning and did not have to queue, had great tips to not over spend on attractions and no pressure to shop. Although we did buy some jade pi xiu for luck. Went to Chang ling tomb which was quite boring but ok to experience the culture. Went to Greatwall , 90min is more than enough, quite tiring. Went to golden palace for lunch and jade shop. Went to a tea culture shop to experience some Chinese tea culture. Had a private tour for the price of group tour as there was only 2 of us! Do tip them if you enjoyed their service.
For Mary the tourist guide places speak slower and not take people to drink tea with out their consent

3.00The great wall was a great experience. I had a hard time understanding the tour guide, because she did speak to fast. I also did not like that they took us to a jewelry store before lunch and to a tea store to consume or buy products. I did not like how they try to pursue us to purchase tea and jewelry
