Be transported by your driver to the base of the Majestic Peak, Gros Piton to begin your ascent. You will be given a trained guide to accompany you while you climb, who will ensure you go at your own pace and stay on the correct path. Your guide will be with you every step of the way and will spur you on to make it to the top. After making it to the top, you will feel that sense of accomplishment and have a great view of the island.

What To Expect
Soufriere
Soufriere area consists of the island's main attractions and tourist sites. Pass through the town area, seeing its cathedral, town's square and other landmarks.
Gros Piton Nature Trail
Begin your climb of St Lucia's most iconic peak, Gros Piton at its base. You will be greeted and paired off with a friendly and trained guide who will be with you throughout the hike. This hike will definitely get your adrenaline pumping as you climb over stones, follow the trail through forested points and make your way to the top. There is a half way point where to get a gorgeous view of the nearby town and ocean then another view point to the top. Earn your bragging rights of making it to the top and for those who are more competitive, ask your guide about the fastest time up and put yourself to the test!

5.00We had the pleasure of traveling with Durand as he picked us up early from our resort and took us on a drive to the Pitons. Duri was knowledgable about the island and gave us a tour through some of the fishing villages on the way to the Pitons. My son and I hiked the Gros Piton and Duri took us back to the resort but not before stopping and enjoying a cold Piton Beverage to celebrate our accomplishment! It was a pleasure talking with Duri and our trip was great. I would point out... the reviewer who gave 4 stars seems to have rated their hike. Let's remember that we cannot penalize the taxi service based on your hiking experience. Our ride experience was 5 stars and enjoyed it! The hike was tough but that wasn't Duri's fault! :) Thank you Duri! We appreciate you and your beautiful home of Saint Lucia.

3.00So I booked the hike and chose my hotel where I needed to be picked up from the dropdown menu. The morning of the hike I got a text saying they noticed I picked a hotel far away and would have to pay an extra 40$ USD to get picked up from there. Therefore, check this when you book and before the cancellation date. The information about pickup is not clear on the website. I ended up doing a different hike to Pidgeon Island which was half the price of what I paid but was not offered a refund for the difference.

2.00Our driver was right on time and super nice. In fact he saved the day. So Monday 8 am we had to thru the capital at rush hour, and so took 2.5 hours to get there. Note to self: from Northern hotels schedule pickup after 10 on a weekday. The tour does NOT start at 9, there is no fixed tour and you can show up any time before 2. Second: it is not a hike. It is arduous boulder climbing and we gave up after 15 minutes. Luckily the driver suggested the Tet Paul hike Stairway to Heaven so we dropped in and for $10 got a great tour and easy hike with great views.
Amazing time, Gros Piton was worth it

5.00Really good communication the night before texting to make sure we all good for the pick up time the next morning . Turned up on time the next morning, super friendly and taught so much about St Lucia along the way way Gros Piton. Guide at Gros Piton was friendly and motivating and we made it to the top and back down. You can grab a nice cold beer to celebrate once you make it back down . Was picked up on time and taken back to hotel safely . I would recommend to solo, group or couple travellers. Ikram

Don't be fooled by the word "hike"

5.00This excursion is not for the faint of heart. As an avid "hiker" in Colorado I thought "I can do this" This was not a hike... this was a climb. Go into it Knowing that. It is hard from the beginning. You gain 2000 feet of elevation in about 3 miles 😬 But it's worth it. It's worth every step, every reach that you make for the blessed ropes along the way. Don't quit when you want to quit at the halfway point!!! Keep going. The view at the top is EVERYTHING and the sense of accomplishment is worth every step...although I will say that when the driver picked us up I thought I would never walk again and I was sore for days. 😂 I hope my experience is an exaggeration and you dear reader do marvelously but alas if you do not...you were warned!

5.00Amazing day trip with Brett our driver! He arrived to pick us up with snacks & refreshments for the day long trip. Our travel to Gros Piton took about an hour and a half during which he educated us all about the island life and vegetation. The climb was incredibly challenging and took about 4 hours to go up and down. Beautiful scenery and once in a lifetime experience. After our climb he returned with ice cold beer, water, and Gatorade and escorted us to the most delicious local cuisine lunch. On the drive back he even let us take over his radio and sing all the way home. Great day and experience. A little misleading however, this trip basically was having a driver to and from the mountain as you are assigned a hiking guide in the park. It’s not part of the tour and will be a separate fee upon arrival. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our day with Brett and would do it again!
