Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

The sites we visited were beautifullly preserved monasteries and learned about the history and culture of these ancient sites. Tour guide Marina was excellent. Very knowledgeable on tour sites history, she speaks Armenian, English, and Russian fluently. Driver Joesph made our ride experience safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Occasional rest stops were provided for food and bathroom comfort. Lunch stop was delicious with dolma, bbq and juices + alcohol provided, albeit not free. Overall a great cultural experience!

Absolutely unreal tour. Now I know its long, youre on the bus a lot and it can be tiring but this was Absolutely worth it! Our tour guide Nina was amazing. Being bilingual and speaking Russian and English, I was amazed at her ability to switch back and forth and not miss a single detail. It was nice to hear in both languages as it added more depth for me. The sights were unbelievable, the knowledge: ever flowing, Absolutely hands down, one of my favorite tours!

Syuniq is marvelous. I think the most beautiful place I've ever been. We was very exited. Elder churches, green giant mountains and Ararat itself greeting us at the beginning hoping we'll enjoy our adventure through 3 Armenian regions. Our guide, Nina, is an excellent teller. Every dram(Armenian currency) and minute are worth it. Նինա- ջան շատ շնորհակալություն ձեզ։ Շատ հետաքրքիր և սիրուն էքսկուրսիան է։

The tour is amazing! Lots of emotions and impressions. Lots of information and attractions on the way to the main goal. The organization is at a high level, everything is on time, everything is clear. Very good price for one day. The driver and guide are just amazing. Everything is measured, calm, punctual. There were about 20 people in the group. Nobody was late. I highly recommend these guys!

It was a blast. We got good amount of time to explore each of the places. Edward's very informative & knowledgeable, even on the road. We also had Joseph as our driver and I felt very safe on the road. The amount of people for the group was good. I think we were over 25 people, but it went very well. Edward explained everything in both russian and english which was truly impressive, and I bet that's not an easy work to do. Only thing not included with the tour price is the food, but you get 3 options at the start of the tour (with vegetarian option too). The food was great at the place we went and for 4900amd water and starters are included. There were a bunch of salads & bread. They even have complimentary wines & vodka that you can taste. As a solo traveller, this trip's been perfect for me, than to rent a car and drive to those places. The views all way to the sites were stunning. It is a long trip, but truly worth it.
