This 14-15-hour tour visits Khor Virap monastery with its magnificent view to Bibical mount Ararat. Next stop is at the monastery complex Noravank, unique in its construction as the Church of Holy Mother of God is the only two-storied monastery in Armenia. Next is Tatev monastery, a spiritual center that had outstanding scientific and political significance. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful nature. On the way back from Tatev you will take the world’s longest Cablecar without stops “Tatever”.

Khor Virap
Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, as it is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity. As a state religion, Christianity in Armenia was adopted in 301 due to endeavors of Saint Gregory The Illuminator, who, before converting King Trdat The 3rd to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeon, over which a church of Khor Virap monastery was built in the 17th century. From the monastery one can admire the stunning view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

5.00Ladies bring a scarf with you! It can cover your head during the monastery service(if you are lucky to catch one) and also work as another layers if the aircon suddenly became too much. I sit at the second last tow but our driver Aro is so good that I didn’t get sick during this 15 hours trip! Our guide Edward is professional and his language skills are impressive with spotless English. He is knowledge and fun, always make sure to give clear instructions on when and where to meet. Thank you for a great day and to show us these beautiful places! I read some old bad reviews on the food but i guess they have changed the lunch place, cause the food is great!

5.00Nina, our highly knowledgeable guide and Karen, our careful driver, made our trip very enjoyable (not to mention the perfect weather along the way). Don't get put off by the 15 hours of this trip, as it easily features 3 of the most beautiful monasteries you will ever see in Armenia, all 3 surrounded by the most beautiful snow mountains and red and green mountains you can dream of, not to mention the amazing scenery you will enjoy from the comfort of your seat! Also, our lunch break was easily the best lunch break we had during our tour. Don't take my word for it, but if you're touring Armenia, make sure to sign up for that day trip. I can guarantee you will not regret your decision! Special mention to Nina, who also happened to be our favourite tour guide during our stay!

5.00Great tour! rode with the driver Khachik and guide Marina. we heard incredibly interesting stories, looked at picturesque places and also had a delicious lunch in an authentic cafe. guide is a very nice and kind woman who helped us immerse ourselves in the history of the country and answered all our questions, and the driver brought us to all locations on time, responsible for our safety. there was Wi-Fi on the bus, which made the travel time even more comfortable. I'm happy to tour with Hyur more!

5.00The long daily trip with the smooth organisation of the agency and pleasant company of excellent guide Eduard and driver Levon makes this tour into such a lovely experience. The landmarks are absolutely beautiful (the cable ride and great lunch service were just cherry on top). If you have only 1 day to visit Tatev, this tour is a must... Highly recommending!

5.00I was satisfied with the fact that the guides and drivers were very attentive to this tour, which allowed me to efficiently travel through Horvilup, Noravank and Tatev monasteries in one day. I also felt that if you understand English to a certain extent, even Japanese people can participate with peace of mind and can go around comfortably. However, since the total free time at each spot is about 20 to 40 minutes (which is still enough to take a look around), you should be careful about timing if you want to go to the toilet, and you should be careful when you return to Yerevan around 23:30.
