On this 9-10-hour tour visit Lake Sevan, pearl of this mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. You will also visit Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public, the peninsula can be named the very point from where the whole beauty of the Lake Sevan is seen. The next stop is Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visited it. An excellent tour to see Lake Sevan, the town of Dilijan, and the ancient temples of Goshavank and Haghartsin. Beautiful nature, ancient Armenian history, and a pleasant experience. Dress warmly for the lake. Many thanks to our guide, Samvel, and driver, Arayik.

Arev, our tour guide, was truly exceptional, one of the best we’ve ever had. She struck the perfect balance with her knowledge, sharing just the right amount of information while remaining attentive and supportive throughout. She made a genuine effort to remember everyone, spoke multiple languages with ease, and even delighted us with her beautiful singing. The Lake Sevan & Dilijan tour itself was equally enjoyable. The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to explore on our own while still feeling guided and organized. The lunch options were excellent and delicious, with a generous selection including appetizers, a main dish, coffee, water, and juice. Overall, it was a very well-organized and memorable experience. The driver Karem was great, we enjoyed the ride :)

The bus was clean and modern. Our guide Arpi and driver Aram were exceptional. The guide's English was great and the content of lectures at each stop was interesting. The tour was both in English and Russian and at each stop we alternated which lecture would be the first (en or tu). My tip is to use time when the tour is not of your language to move around as much as possible, since if it's the second one, you will have a lot less time after.

We took this trip with my family and we enjoyed it a lot! Our tour guide Arpi told a lot of interesting stories about the Sevan lake and the monasteries, and our driver Ara made sure that we travel safe and with comfort. The lunch was also worth the money!
