The excursion will start with Tiraspol city tour - the capital of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. The town was founded thanks to the Peace Treaty of Jassy, which was concluded after the Russian-Turkish War (1787- 1791) between the Ottoman Empire and the Russian Empire.

Bendery Fortress

we'll visit Bender fortress which was built in one the most powerful of the medieval cities of Moldova – Tighina, which was an important trade outpost. Originally built as a small wooden fort by Stefan cel Mare, it was fortified with stone during Petru Rares' rule, just was Soroca fortress.

Fantastic visit to this country, also visited the Memorial Park very interesting. Architecture great.

I don't know whether Transnistria will become an independent country, but it's still fun to visit a place like this. It seemed to be lost in time, with a hammer and sickle on the flag. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgable. The driver somewhat less so, but overall the experience was good. Lunch was included and pretty tasty.
