Step away from it all and stretch your legs on this scenic coastal hike through Guana Bay. Upon arrival, you will receive a bottle of water and a hip pack your friendly guide. After a safety briefing, you will follow quiet, natural trails along the rugged eastern coastline where your guide will tell you about some of the island’s history and point out natural rock formations and unique flora and fauna. Enjoy the spectacular views of neighboring islands and listen to the waves at Geneve Bay’s pebble beach, where you can relax before your hike back. Make sure you bring your camera; the views are spectacular

Do NOT do if you are coming in from a cruise

1.00My husband and I were very excited for this hike. We love a good hike! The reviews were all good for this hike. We came in through the cruise port. We headed to the area where the taxis were and we approached 3 different taxi drivers and we were told the same thing by all 3 drivers. We were told that it was too dangerous to go to the drop off location. I asked what they meant by too dangerous and they told me that it was a cliff and it was too dangerous for us to be there in such a remote area. We told them that we had paid for a tour and we are meeting somebody there but the taxi drivers would still not take us to that location. We did not have an international calling plan and we could not communicate with the tour guide that we could not make it to that location. So unfortunately all we did was walk around the small area near the ports. It was very disappointing. And now I am out $80.

5.00Great coastal hike with Alexandra and Thea. I got a lot of insights into the country and the impressive nature. The hike requires surefootedness, but is good to run despite some steep passages. Hiking poles are available free of charge and there are water/soft drinks for refreshment. The hike is highly recommended.

5.00Ashley and Jack were excellent guides. The 11:30 hike is hot so bring hat, sun lotion etc. Outstanding views.

5.00This hike was fantastic. Colby and Alexandra were our guides and were thoughtful, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. The hike was moderate only because of uneven terrain. Well worth the money.

5.00This was fun and informative. A great way to see part of the island that most tourists don’t go to. Our guide Alexandra had a lot of interesting things to teach us about SXM. Unfortunately, there were a lot of wasps along the trail that day because the wind wasn’t blowing much.

5.00Excellent tour guide and staff, highly knowledgeable and friendly. Guides you through a semi-challenging but very doable and family friendly hike through absolutely gorgeous scenery. Waters and breaks/photo opportunities are provided, as well as bus transportation to and from the port. A must do for any family on a cruise.
