What To Expect
Our Dolphin Exploration Tours last approximately two hours and will take you from Clearwater Bay out Clearwater Pass on the beautiful emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico (weather permitting) in search of the Sun Coast’s favorite…the Bottlenose Dolphin. In addition to offering Guaranteed Dolphin Sightings, your Captain will highlight some fascinating facts about the natural wonders our Gulf Coast offers as well as point out celebrity mansions along the way. The tour offers something for everyone, including educational information on our area and our wildlife, and optional drink upgrades including unlimited beer and soft drinks for the adults! Just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! We ask that all guests check in to our booth 45 minutes prior to tour departure time. We begin boarding our tours 15 minutes prior to departure and always leave on time. We cannot wait for anyone who isn't there by departure time. The Guarantee: In the unlikely event we do not see dolphins during the tour, you will be able to take another dolphin tour free of charge at a later time. Drink packages purchased during the original tour are not refundable and do not apply to your next dolphin tour.

2.00The tour is nice. You get to see dolphins and learn about places along the Gulf of Mexico (America). However, the crew and especially the tour guide were rude and I felt discriminated against. We were the only black family on board and was constantly confronted by crew members and even the captain after being called out and yelled at by the tour guide. We were threatened to have the coast guard called on us. They were trying to provoke us constantly. Like I said it started with the woman tour guide yelling at me telling me to have my 2 year old son sit on his knees, when he would not be able to see and I was clearly holding him in a safe position. I did not respond to her because thats not how she spoke to anyone but me when asking them to do something. It was an attempt at public humiliation. And after that I didnt enjoy the ride too much. I had to explain to my kids what this incident meant and that was disappointing. They still pretty much enjoyed the tour because theyre not really old enough to understand. But this experience was good up until then. Eventually the captain apologized and offered us some free stuff. The tour guide never did and thought we were going to tip her poor performance. She could have gotten alot farther with her request had she not been prejudice and think she could yell snd demand a black woman.
