The crew were knowledgeable about the area and we saw lots of wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a whale breach too! It was a small group of 15 and 2 crew which made for a comfortable viewing experience.

Saw humpbacks, orcas, sea otters and sea lions. Small boat with less than 20 people on it. Only negative is our ticket said 11:30, but once we got there and waited for awhile we learned that the timing on Viator was wrong and the tour wasn't until 12:30, so lots of waiting around.

Great experience with very educated guides, lots of whales and wildlife! Our local guide was full of local knowledge and even taught us some about her language and lineage. Our captain was very experienced and knowledgeable and made for a smooth journey. My family and I would absolutely recommend this excursion to all families old and young!

What an amazing experience!!! Please don't accept my review as what you might see every trip, but we had the perfect day. According to our captain, this was the best weather in 60 years. As we headed out to see whales, we could clearly see the Fairweather Mountains from 100 miles away. They had not been seen for almost 60 days prior. Then all of a sudden, we saw a pod of transient Orcas. This was the first Orca sighting in 30 days. We hung out with the Orcas for a little bit and then moved to another location. At the next location, we got into a group of Humpbacks. I would estimate about 6 of them including one named Wedgy that likes to sing a lot. There were also two juveniles. We saw multiple double tales throughout the trip. To top it all off, we had the best guide and captain. Captain Carl got us perfectly close to the whales. And our guide, Adriana was so knowledgeable and energetic. Even when she did not know one question, she was so excited to be able to research it that night. She is planning to be a captain someday herself. This was the highlight of our entire Alaska cruise.
