this adventure start at 8am, from your hotel and take to a fantastic fullday trip bet medellin and guatape, crossing beautiful sceneries, thru towns, like marinilla, and ha then having a stop at alto del chocho, where you will enjoy the best cheese bread(pandebono), and ellos the small farm with lamas and other animals, after this stop we go straight to the bay and replica, new peñol, and the giandt rock, after this stop, we take you to the beautiful town guape(protected)by unesco, after exploring the town we will take you back to Medellin.

te recogeremos en tu hotel para iniciar nuestro viaje por carretera hacia el municipio de El Peñol, ubicado a 69 kilómetros de la ciudad de Medellín, donde haremos nuestra primera parada de la réplica del "viejo Peñol", pueblo que se inundó para dar paso a la enorme represa hidroeléctrica que cuenta con 2.260 hectáreas de agua, subiremos a un bote de aventura (Boleto no incluido) para navegar por este increíble lago y ver los paisajes más hermosos y atractivos turísticos como la finca Pablo Escobar "la Manuela", el paseo en bote, nos dirigiremos a la gigantesca roca del Peñol que tiene 220 metros de altura y sus 740 escalones nos lleva a una de las mejores vistas del mundo, luego nos dirigiremos al municipio de Guatape, donde quedarás fascinado por sus Coloridas casas y su amable gente, visitaremos la "plaza de los zócalos" y el paseo marítimo de Guatape.

5.00We went on this tour to Guatape with Camantour and it was the best experience ever! I’ve went through many tours around the world but Camantour and John our guide was awesome. We were picked up exactly on time the next day for our day trip to Guatape. We were greeted and welcomed by John once he arrived. The mode of transportation was very comfortable. John took us to the best recommended places to eat breakfast and lunch during our excursion. He showed us various points of Guatape which was amazing. He is very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and is bilingual! We had an amazing time at Guatape and climbing El Peñol. If you’re in Medellín and looking for a day tour, don’t hesitate to contact Camantour and make sure to ask for John! We will definitely be choosing Camantour for our next tour when we return to Medellín.

5.00Guatape was an excellent tour. I’m learning Spanish so my tour guide Joshua tailored everything to my level and substituted English where needed. The hike is absolutely beautiful at the top. And the stairs are fun. It’s so unique. And then we went through the town which was vibrant and fun.

We explored the colorful streets filled with vibrant zócalos, learned about the town’s history, and enjoyed the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight was the climb, challenging but exciting, with every step building anticipation. Reaching the top and seeing the lake spread out below was absolutely worth it—peaceful, breathtaking, and unforgettable.
