The belfry is the most important building on the Grote Markt. This square is surrounded by guild houses with an ancient history.

Basilica of the Holy Blood

The Basilica of the Holy Blood has an impressive facade with gold-colored statues. You reach the upper chapel in neo-Gothic style via a special staircase. There is also an elevator. You don't want to miss this! The lower chapel is completely different. It surprises with the thick walls, small windows and the unique atmosphere. The centuries-old town hall is located on the same square. This building with the slender towers is an absolute eye-catcher. Here the guide will tell you about the statues and coats of arms.

A great way to see Bruges. Our guide, Bruno, was very nice and knowledgeable.Having the boat tour in the middle was a perfect little break. We saw all the major sites and it gave us a good knowledge base of the town for the rest of our stay in Bruges.

Our tour guide Bruno was very knowledgeable and kind. He explained everything in an easy to understand way. We visited the main hotspots in the city centre and Bruno could always tell some fun facts or point out interesting things. The boat tour was good, but we were in the back of the boat where we couldn't always hear the guide properly. You get some amazing views from the water which cannot be achieved by walking. The chocolate tasting was great as well. There we also learned from Bruno that we should look for the chocolate guild mark on stores to get the real artisan chocolate. Small details like this made this tour unforgettable and well worth your time.

We went on the tour with Nicole and she was amazing!! She had great story telling and I really feel like I got the full story of Bruges! She also gave great recommendations for restaurants and chocolate and waffle shops! Would recommend.

Excellent tour of the main sites. Our guide Patrick was very good, although it rained a little. Boat trip around the canal network was excellent, pointing out the main historic venues. Overall, well worth doing

We had a great guide in the person of Betty, she made us relive the whole history of Bruges through the promenade. She is charming and very interesting, answered our many questions. Then boat ride of 30 min, she was waiting for us downhill and ended the visit by the Beguinage. A beautiful visit that made us want to visit other sites in Bruges. In addition we were a small group of 6 French, which allowed us to have a good exchange with Betty We recommend 😊

Thanks to our guide Frank who gave us a private tour due to lack of other guests through Bruges. Nothing better could have happened to us. Just great! There is also nothing to complain about on the approximately 45-minute boat trip with German audio guide.
