We were so lucky to have John take us on a sunset tour of Chiang Mai’s temples. He taught us a lot and we left feeling so much more respect for what it all stands for. We dropped by a food market for some modern day contrasts as well. Thank you for the photo lessons too John!

John is a real guide. History, culture, religion and Buddhist temples and the nightlife of Chiang Mai. All well dosed. Finally, John shows us how to improve our night photos with great tips. We also tasted street food with confidence. Thanks, John.

John was the most wonderful guide for our night time adventure. He was friendly, fun & filled with interesting information about everything we saw — we learned so much & saw so much. He took us to the most important temples, including one where we could hang a prayer banner, which was very meaningful to me. We also went to a night food market, where he introduced us to all these wonderful foods. Every step of the way he made sure we were comfortable & had everything we needed. Also, he’s an excellent photographer & made sure we had stunning pictures of ourselves in front of every site we visited. He clearly loves his country, his city & his culture, & is eager to share its wonders with visitors. I give him and the driver an A++ for providing a perfect experience I’ll always remember.

We had a brilliant time on the EV night trip with our excellent guide John! We had small kids and John was so accommodating and it was a great way for us to see the heart of Chiang Mai without having to walk around with the kids. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. It was excellent value too!

Wow! John knows everything there is to know about the historical & cultural temples. He was funny, spoke excellent English, and introduced us to some local food delicacies at the night food market. He gave us great photo tips too as he is a keen photographer! The tour lasted 2.5 hours & the electric tram was very comfortable. Highly recommend & was a great introduction to the area in the cooler early evening.

We decided to book a city and cultural tour at the last minute. This was our first time in Chiang Mai and John, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Note that while it’s advertised as a two hour tour, we went for almost three hours. We were also wired that it was in the evening and temples would be closed but it was actually nice to visit the temples in the evenings. Would recommend!

I had a fabulous time on this tour! Mr John was my guide and he was very informative, kind, and patient while I took lots of pictures. The temples were stunning at night and he knew all the best spots. It was a great first night in Chiang Mai and I was able to see so much due to the electric tuktuk. He even ran the tour overtime and took me to additional spots! I recommend this tour and especially booking it as a private option!
