5.00The owner and staff were very welcoming. The young lady providing the information regarding the history of chocolate and how their company turned the beans into chocolate was pleasant and knowledgeable. The samples were very good and everyone in our group purchased some candy for later. The shop/factory is a short and easy walk from where our cruise ship docked. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00It was excellent!! I was impressed with the selections and discussions!! We probably tasted over 10 different kinds of chocolate, learned the history of chocolate making, and even got to sample a possible future product. I love how the owner has honored family and local history in her company and products.

5.00Kate was a great and knowledgeable host. We had a brief but insightful presentation about the history and origins of chocolate, as well as Kate’s goals for Bixby Chocolate prior to the tasting. She is very passionate and wildly inventive when it comes to chocolate. The tasting was an amazing experience itself. We sampled many distinctly different chocolates from Guatemala, Belize, and Haiti, as well as other unique flavors like chai or oat milk. The wild blueberry bonbons were bursting with flavor and the beer brittle was delicious too. The tasting was a fun and unique experience that was definitely worth the time and the price of admission. Thank you, Kate & Bixby Chocolate!
