  I was treated like royalty because I was the only person on this tour. Chris made sure I was informed about the attractions and history of Noumea. He even went out of his way to contact another tour company about refunding my money because they had cancelled my afternoon tour only 2 hours before it was scheduled to begin. Thank you so much again Chris for making my Noumea city experience a memorable and entertaining one.

  Contacted the agent twice and have requested a refund before posting this review…but no response. We were more than disappointed with this tour….more time was spent touring hotels to pick up one passenger and looking for 3 no shows than actually on the tour. The only commentary was at two of the stopping points (the third being at the market) which were really only for pictures. No commentary on the van except when we passed a couple of points and that was only to be told what they were and nothing about them. Also it was impossible to hear even this with no microphone due to road, anir con and traffic noise. Zero stars for this tour…with one for Daniel as he turned up on time and drove safely. We would have been better getting the train which covered more points, was cheaper, and we are advised had informative and fun commentary. We have done other great tours with Viator previously which is why we chose this but it failed to meet our expectations. The other couple from our ship are equally unhappy and disappointed. I requested a refund but this email has been ignored.

  Very high step up to get into the van. If you are short, or have mobility problems don’t take this tour as there is no step or hand grab to enable easy access into the van. For those of us in the back of the van we could not hear the guide’s commentary. We asked him multiple times to speak up as we could not hear him. He then said a few words loudly and then continued to speak softly. Why did he not have a microphone. At one stop he pointed out a Lighthouse. I asked him if it was still operational - he did not know!! The tour was very lame. We were taken to the unimpressive fruit & vegetable & fish markets. There was nothing remarkable to see. We were taken to so called “the best French pastry shop”. The pastries we purchased were stale and expensive. Would not recommend this tour.
