Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where horse and buggies on the roads and farmers in the fields are common sights. You will be fully immersed in their way of life with a visit to the Amish Village Museum, a preserved Amish homestead that is now open to the public.

Come with an appetite as you enjoy some homemade Amish cooking at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you'll have a chance to savor some yummy sweet treats like whoopie pies and shoo fly pies from a local bakery.

We’ll have time for stops in small towns highlighting Amish-made goods, including quilt shops and road-side stands. Best yet, you’ll have the chance to support the community with any purchases, with unique options recommended by your guide!

We had an absolutely amazing time exploring Amish community with Tom. We learned so much and believe it or not our teens were engaged and having a blast the entire day. Tom is very knowledgeable, engaging and just a delight to spend the day with. Would highly recommend this tour with him. It was the highlight of our multi-city week long trip!

The meeting point address on the Viator web page was incorrect and we nearly missed the tour. I thought it was great being able to speak to some of the Amish people and Dale did a great job.

This Amish countryside tour with Adam was an absolute highlight. Adam is a phenomenal guide—insightful, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and culture of the region. His storytelling brought every stop to life, from the peaceful goat cheese farm to the local Amish museum and charming Amish restaurant. What made the day so special was the care Adam took to craft a truly immersive experience. Adam was an exceptional guide, super friendly and keen to learn more about everyone in the group. The tour itself was very informative and we even got to see the animals, absolutely recommend this if you’re interested in history and cultures!

One of the most unique and interesting tours I have ever been on. Adam is an outstanding guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable and he has great relationships with the people in the places visited. Lunch option was also great.
