Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where horse and buggies on the roads and farmers in the fields are common sights. You will be fully immersed in their way of life with a visit to the Amish Village Museum, a preserved Amish homestead that is now open to the public.
Come with an appetite as you enjoy some homemade Amish cooking at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you'll have a chance to savor some yummy sweet treats like whoopie pies and shoo fly pies from a local bakery.
We’ll have time for stops in small towns highlighting Amish-made goods, including quilt shops and road-side stands. Best yet, you’ll have the chance to support the community with any purchases, with unique options recommended by your guide!

5.00Adam was so knowledgeable, experienced, and fun! Not only did we learn a ton about the Amish community, he took us to a restaurant where we had delicious food and got to get to know our tour mates a bit better. We enjoyed seeing how the bridles were made and some of the Amish leather works. The last stop to shop for authentic Amish good and gifts was a great way to wrap it up. Highly recommend!

5.00Tom was AWESOME! He was very knowledgeable about the Amish region and took us to places where you can really see how the Amish live. He was able to answer all my questions. And although it was not a stop on the tour, I was able to stop and buy vegetable and herb seeds to bring back home.
