This was a great tour. Marty was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information throughout the day. There were plenty of stops to get out and explore different areas of life and culture within the Amish community. Could have used more time at lunch for eating and exploring.

Do not video record the Amish. That is against the rules and I saw some people from other groups that may not understand English, so I wanted to share that.

We didn’t have a car in Philadelphia and this was the perfect way to see the Amish Country. Our guide was James and you would be so lucky to have him as he has a vast historical and personal knowledge of all things Philadelphia including the nearby Amish of Lancaster County. We visited the Amish Village and saw the inside of a typical Amish house. After a nice lunch (we paid and chose our own at a marketplace) James took us to several craftsmen’s places of business… something for everyone. It was a great day…. Thank you James

Rick was a great tour guide. We got to see working farms and businesses run by the Amish. It was an enjoyable day learning about the Amish who live in Lancaster. We made many stops, but we would have enjoyed some more time shopping. Overall, it was great!
