What To Expect
Our company takes you on an unprecedented morning quest: the observation of dolphins in their natural habitat, the Tamarin Bay. The morning offers perfect conditions for having the chance to observe the two fabulous marine mammals: the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), which often take refuge in the bay at night in order to mate and feed. Embark with your guide on the kayaks to discover in a responsible and respectful way the dolphins of Mauritius. This 2-hour adventure is open to everyone and does not require any previous experience with kayaks. It is important to note that we cannot guarantee with certainty the presence of dolphins. These are sometimes off the coast, inaccessible by kayak. An alternative route will then be proposed to discover the Tamarind River and its wildlife.

5.00Nice morning walk on the sea in the kayaks. The quiet at sunrise is very special. The fact that we were lucky and actually saw a bunch of dolphins very close made the experience magical. Can completely recommend the tour and the skilled and knowledgeable guides!

4.00I love the approach that you watch dolphins with kayak. Boats chasing dolphins are disaster, it looks and feels horrible, no respect to animals at all. Theo was the guide, very friendly and nice guy. I give 4 stars for one reason - you have to carry kayaks from the garage to the beach by yourself. It could be ok for men, but two girls carrying kayak - it is quite heavy. I suppose kayaks should have been brought to the beach prior the beginning of the tour. Plus it takes time.

5.00Spectacular! Yudish was an energetic and informative guide who led us in a group of five kayaks out into the bay for a successful dolphin encounter. It was awesome to be up close and hear them breathe in the quiet early morning light. Then Yudish led us up the river for more unique sights. This was a fantastic experience! Thanks, Yudish! :-)

5.00The guided kayak tour with Yudish was super fun and really beautiful. We were lucky to see a dolphin and afterwards explored the river, which was very peaceful. Yudish always had the perfect song for every situation — such a great vibe!

5.00We booked a kayaking with dolphins trip the day after we hiked Le Morne. We were super happy that yudish was our guide again as we is awesome. The kayaking was great and after watching one dolphin we continued to the river. Yudish gave us lots of information about the area as well and it was a really great tour. We only saw one dolphin but we really liked that we kept a distance and waited for the dolphin to approach. Not like other operators that don t respect their space.

5.00Spontaneously booked the guided kayak tour from Yanature via Tridpadvisor. Great experience! Were traveling as a small group of 4 kayaks. Was very straightforward. Theó, our guide from Yanature, was very friendly & led the tour very well. We were lucky and were able to watch a group of spinner dolphins. The kayaks are definitely the quieter variant to watch dolphins (around us were many boats, some of which changed position very often & quickly). Mega experience, would book the tour again immediately!
