Keep a feed or catch and release, up to you! Target Species: Reef Fishing: Snapper, Grassy Sweetlip, Bream, Cod, Tailor. 5.00Amazing Kayak Fishing Experience – Highly Recommend! I went on a kayak fishing charter this morning and it was absolutely awesome. I’ve been thinking about getting into kayak fishing for a while but wasn’t sure if it was right for me—this trip definitely confirmed it. The pedal kayaks are 100% the way to go. I’ve lived in the area for 25 years and still got about five times the bites I usually get land-based. Aaron was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about all the gear, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re thinking about taking up kayak fishing or just want a relaxing morning out on the water, I can’t recommend this enough. I ended up catching 5 flathead, 3 snapper (squire), and a Tuskfish. Fantastic morning!

5.00The true magic of kayak fishing lies in the complete immersion. It begins before dawn like 5am, loading the minimalist gear onto the plastic hull, a silent promise of solitude. Launching from a forgotten bank inaccessible to powerboats, you become part of the environment. Each paddle stroke is a meditation(Lol a big exercise), the only sound the drip of water and the waking world. You feel every current and breeze, not as an obstacle, but as a conversation with the water. The hunt is intimate and strategic. There’s no roaring engine to spook fish; presenting lures with a soft plastic catching different fish species like Snappers, sweetlips, flatties and so on. You’re not just catching a fish; you’re engaged in a raw, direct battle of skill and will, connected by a thin line. It’s not always about the catch. It’s the eagle soaring overhead, the otter peering curiously, and the profound peace of being a tiny speck on a vast, beautiful expanse. It’s the ultimate freedom and connection to nature. On the other words…. First time to try kayak fishing and we had a great time with Aaron this morning. Will try next time in the creek…
