Experience the stunning vistas at Dead Horse State Park, established in 1957 and renowned as Utah’s premier destination for mountain biking. Situated at around 6,000 feet in elevation and just 45 minutes from Moab, Dead Horse Point offers a thrilling ride along moderate to intermediate single-track trails. These trails feature rolling terrain and breathtaking overlooks of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park. This adventure is ideal for riders with some prior mountain biking experience. The tour includes a high-quality mountain bike, helmet, park entrance fees, and snacks. The entire experience, including travel time, lasts between 4 to 5 hours and covers roughly 10 miles, though this may vary depending on your ability and fitness level.

5.00My family sent me off on the morning of my birthday for a half-day ride in Dead Horse Point state park. Julie was the perfect guide to take me on my first ride of my 51st year! Beautiful scenery and great fun riding on the amazing trail system.

5.00We did an intermediate tour with e-bikes with Brian in Dead Horse plane. Brian was an amazing guide! He gave us information on the area, while also guiding us perfectly throughout the park. The tour was incredibly fun and enjoyable. The e-bikes were amazing and we had the time of our lives!

5.00This was such an awesome experience. This tour made everything so Easy! Our tour guide, Marla, was phenomenal! Now to be completely honest- my husband and I only experience with “mountain biking” has been on the flat land of Florida. We were completely transparent with Marla about our level of expertise. She made us feel SO comfortable. If there were segments that we struggled- she kept encouraging us. There were times we had to walk the bike because WOW that was a challenge but what made the experience so wonderful was the challenge. Marla even said- what makes this experience so great is the challenge because you will never forget. And she was 100% correct. Thank you Rim Tours and Marla for making our time in Moab such a memorable one.

5.00Great but rugged ride with nice viewsI Guide was excellent and patient. Bikes were top notch. Would not recommend doing if you do not have a moderate level of physical fitness and /or have not adjusted to the elevation change.

5.00Great scenery, easy trail for every rider. Even though it was around 30 degrees Celsius we were able to complete the entire tour on time without too much of a struggle.
