Equipped with a digital tablet and headphones provided, step back in time with Phnom Penh Heritage Tour to discover the city's superb heritage.
While the journey offers a glimpse of the vibrant bustle of today, each of the 19 stops invites you to step back in time to discover 22 sites inherited from the time when Cambodia was placed under French protectorate.
The video guide reveals the history of each place with films, vintage photos and historical anecdotes. It also offers the privilege of virtually entering certain buildings inaccessible to the public.
The transformation of a fishing village into a capital, the first urbanization on a French model, the craze for Art Deco architecture, the organization of the social fabric, the royal family, the lifestyle of the elite at the beginning of the 20th century and the dark hours of the Khmer Rouge regime are all topics discussed during the Phnom Penh Heritage Tour.

A tour of Phnom Penh by electric bus that takes you to discover more than 24 iconic monuments. Each stage is enriched by audio explanations and period images, allowing to capture the contrast between past and present and to better understand the history of the city. The passionate and captivating guide makes the experience even more vivid. In just over 3 hours, it is a true cultural and heritage journey, magical and informative. Not to be missed upon arrival in Phnom Penh. I highly recommend it.

A unique experience to discover Phnom Penh by fully electric bus, eco-friendly and that effectively replaces emissions from traditional vehicles. More than 24 monuments are seen or visited with a passionate guide, long trained to master French. At each stop, a tablet offers period photos and audio explanations, and the guide then completes with anecdotes and captivating details. The tour lasts more than three hours, but time flies so far that we are immersed in the history and richness of the monuments. An exciting, rewarding and totally unmissable moment to understand Phnom Penh.

The tour takes you around 22 different buildings in old Phnom Penh. My guide was really knowledgeable about French colonial history as it pertains to the buildings we visited. He also was open to answering any of my random questions concerning Cambodia and Phnom Penh. The tour is in a little electric bus so it is easier to get right to the front door of most of the sites. Some, we were able to enter. All in all, a really great experience.
