Visit Fushimi Inari & the secret bamboo grove that locals don't even know exists! Two contrasting and beautiful locations in one photoshoot! A rare location to get so many various backdrops in a 60 minute photoshoot.
Details:
■ 60-minute photoshoot
■ A private & exclusive booking
■ 60 professionally taken and edited shots (in Jpeg) for solo / 80 + for couples *I will always try to add some extras*
■ I can guide you in a variety of poses and capture some great, natural candid moments too
On the day:
■ Meet at your choice of JR or Keihan Fushimi Inari Stations
■ Guided to the main shrine where we will take a series of candid shots and poses along the way
■ We'll then shoot at the secret bamboo grove and a hidden area
■ Finally, we will go through the famous red Torii gates and capture the best shots of you
After:
■ Images edited & sent via Google Drive 1-3 days later
Extras:
■ RAW files available for an extra 5000 yen

What To Expect
Have beautiful photos of your time at Japan's most iconic shrine and the secret bamboo grove. Guided in a private group or solo shoot with some history and information of the area, plus help get those perfect photos. We will see the unique architecture and feel the atmosphere of this beautiful shrine. + Taken through the shrine entrance area, and some initial shots around this spot. + We will then walk through the initial part of the shrine and go to the secret bamboo grove. A small, peaceful, and beautiful spot where you can get some great photos that would otherwise be hard to get in the overcrowded Arashiyama. With photos of bamboo backdrops and stone lanterns. + Posed shots at a secluded red torii gate area that's usually quiet. + We will then walk through the main area of Fushimi Inari shrine through its countless red torii gates, capturing the beauty of the shrine with you, your friends, and your loved ones. + Through a forested area with green moss, and rows of stone lanterns, ending with shots at a beautiful red bridge for a lovely final area. + Walk back to then station or finish up at the entrance area.

5.00Hugh was exceptional. He was most accommodating. I misunderstood our meeting place but Hugh was gracious and kind and accommodating. He was an excellent source for local food and sites to visit. He was experienced about places that locals visited so that we did not encounter all the visitors/tourists. As a non-native person living in Japan, and English-speaking person, we could not been more happy and at-ease with him. We were so happy with our experience and would highly recommend Hugh to everyone.

I was a little late for our session and didn't expect him to make up that time at all but he was generous enough to extend our session a little bit. 5.00Had an absolutely wonderful time on this experience. Hugh was very professional, prompt, and communicative. We moved up our time to avoid crowds and he was able to accommodate. Having a photographer at Fushimi Inari is a must. There are so many tourists that it can be intimidating but Hugh was able to show us all the hidden spots and get those photos without anyone in the background! He even took us to a hidden bamboo forest which was picturesque. Overall to not hesitate book your photoshoot now! Thanks Hugh

5.00We had such a great time chatting with Hugh while he took photos of my husband and I. We didn’t have any specifics or anything really in mind going into it, we just wanted a few photos of us on our honeymoon in kimonos. Hugh did a wonderful job, made us feel very comfortable, and the photos are so beautiful. He is very friendly and shares interesting information during the tour as well which we really enjoyed.
