Kayaking is The sport in Soča valley. To paddle, the Soča River is one of the privileges you have to take advantage of. The untouched nature and striking contact with the river offer pure pleasure. We will make sure that you'll feel absolutely safe and almost as a genuine kayaker on your descent.

What To Expect
At the agreed-upon time, a friendly welcome will await you at the SPORT MIX agency. You will get acquainted with your kayak instructor who will then share some introductory information. After receiving all your kayaking gear, we will transport you to the entrance point on the Soča River. After putting on your gear, you will be instructed on the basic laws of water flow. An experienced professional kayak guide will accompanied you on the descent. The guide will also offer some tips and pointers, and then together you will set off on your descent. At the end of your trip, our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Bovec. Upon return, we will enjoy hearing your impressions and look at the pictures from the trip. After we will bid you farewell with the hopes that you will return to visit again soon.

5.00Had a wonderful morning kayaking with our guide Guillermo on a gorgeous day in fantastic scenery. Although we were relative beginners and the water was high he took great care of us, helping us gain confidence - until I misjudged the current and went in. His years of experience showed when he got me back in the kayak in seconds (I’m still not sure how he did that!) He also managed to capture some awesome photos along the way which we were delighted with. He and the whole team at Sportmix were fantastic and we can’t rate them highly enough.

5.00Fun ride on Soča river. We were in a small group and there were no other groups around at that time so we had the river to ourselves. Guide is friendly and taught us the basic kayaking techniques that were needed, he also took photos which will be sent to you. Wetsuits gears are provided and in good condition.

5.00Great experience! It is the second time I spend a day with sport mix, kind and super nice, a great choice of experiences. Both during the rafting and kayaking the instructors were super fun, if you are with a group of friends you create moments that make you laugh but also very adventurous! In addition to a great photo shoot throughout the trip. Also excellent is the E-bike rental service that allows you to enjoy the whole valley without fatigue. Highly recommended!
