What To Expect

Join us at Trá an Dóilín (also known as Coral Beach) to explore crystal clear waters with intimate marine life encounters, visit beautiful seagrass meadows, and enjoy the freedom of snorkeling under the direct supervision of one of their attentive guides. First, the group will meet their guide at the given meeting point where the group will be sized for all the equipment they will need and the guide will also explain some safety matters. After this the group will move down to Coral Beach and will meet at the Wild Atlantic Way sign for a final check before moving down to the beach. Here the instructor will demo how to put on the equipment and make any adjustments needed. Following this the instructor will demo the basic snorkel skills and ensure the group is happy before commencing the tour where the group will see local species, maerl, seagrass meadows, kelp forests. and much more. During the tour, the experienced guides will provide the group with in-depth knowledge of local species and their seasons. This activity is most popular with families, friend groups, and tour groups but is open to everyone.
