Our trip to Salt Mine will start with picking up from a previously determined place in Krakow from a hotel or apartment. The journey from Krakow to Wieliczka takes about 40 minutes. Information about your pick up time you will get one day before the trip.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
Visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine takes 3 hours. Before visiting, you will receive headphones to better hear the guide. The entire route is less than 3 km and there are over 800 stairs to climb. However, they are beaten in batches. Return to the top is the elevator.

5.00The tour was extremely well organized. We chose hotel pickup. Our driver, Konrad, arrived at the scheduled time. The trip was very fast. Our group had only 7 people. We reached the mine and skipped the line. The tour itself was stunning thanks to the views. It is a true UNESCO heritage site. It is worth visiting!

5.00There is a lot of walking down into the mine (800 steps) but a lift back up. It was pleasantly 3 -4 hours so not too intense. Informative tour guide to show us around

5.00Excellent! Used this company for both our excursions to the Salt Mines & Auschwitz. The excursions were excellent, and the communication from this company clear & detailed with regard to pick ups, what to expect etc Again wear your comfiest shoes! Some real foot patrol on this one too.

5.00Visited today 8th March 2026. Great experience from start to finish. We were picked up right outside our hotel and dropped back there afterwards, which made everything very easy and convenient. The minibus was clean and comfortable, we shared it with two other couples there was still plenty of room for everyone. Our driver Michal was really friendly and professional, and everything was well organised. No queuing for tickets either which was a bonus. The whole trip to the salt mines was smooth and enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend this company to anyone visiting Krakow. Colleen & Darren (N.Ireland)
