Our trip to Salt Mine will start with picking up from a previously determined place in Krakow from a hotel or apartment. The journey from Krakow to Wieliczka takes about 40 minutes. Information about your pick up time you will get one day before the trip.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
Visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine takes 3 hours. Before visiting, you will receive headphones to better hear the guide. The entire route is less than 3 km and there are over 800 stairs to climb. However, they are beaten in batches. Return to the top is the elevator.

5.00The driver picked us up right from our rental apartment. The driver explained all well in advance. The tour itself was very well organised. There is really a lot of walking inside the mine (ca 3,5 km). Driver also waited us on the exit and toon us to Krakow where we wanted.

5.00Excellent trip. Well organised. The driver Konrad was on time, helpful and very friendly. The tour guide in the mine was called Isabella. She was fantastic, her in depth knowledge of the mines was astonishing plus she had a wicked sense of humour and that made the visit even better. My wife and I loved the tour it was well worthwhile.

5.00Really amazing tour with a great guide. Definately need comfy walking shoes/trainers. Lots of stairs and walking. Was absolutely shattered after but well worth it. I have hearing aids so they had special earphones so that was excellent. Pick up from hotel was on time and great communication via watsap. Highly recommend this trip.

5.00Could not fault the trip out. Exacticlty as is says. Never done anything like this before but really so simple to do. They communicated everything needed to make the trip as smooth as possible both at booking, beforehand and on the day. Driver right on time on collection time, and dropped us back having to wait for us on the return trip along with others in the bus, due to a delay getting us completed on the tour inside the mine. Really good value for money and could not ask for anything more
