Mostly storytelling, all we did was go up to the third floor of the hotel and look how it was built in different levels. Not much to this tour.

An interesting and informative guided tour of the hotel. You tour the main areas of the hotel and get to see one of the rooms as well. The guide provided plenty of facts regarding the hotel and its history!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with both the Chateau de Frontenac & Old City tours. Both guides were informative, helpful & very friendly. I had to change both tours twice on short notice. Cicerone did an excellent job of responding to my e-mails & changed on 2 separate days after my cruise was delayed.

I love history and architecture so this tour provided the perfect blend of both. Our guide was dressed as Louis de Buade de Frontenac who was the governor of Quebec City from 1672 - 1682. We were able to see many areas of the Chateau then we would have on our own.

The walking tour of Old Town Quebec City is a must. So much history was shared as well where to go and what to do. I never knew there was an Upper and Lower City!!
