Tvindefossen
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it. In the late 1990s the water at Tvindefossen acquired a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual potency that made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the U.S., Japan and Russia visiting and filling containers with the water. At one point it was Norway's ninth most visited natural attraction, with 272,000 visitors.
Stalheimskleiva
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The highway runs through a series of tunnels to descend into the valley. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the amazing view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.

Dear Viking, Our 21-day journey with Viking, from the South Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea (Buenos Aires to Barcelona), was far more than just a trip — it was a deeply meaningful experience that will stay with us for a long time. It wasn’t only about visiting beautiful destinations, but about slowing down, being present, and truly embracing each moment along the way. Crossing three continents and multiple time zones made the journey even more extraordinary, and the Crossing the Equator party on the Viking Jupiter was an unforgettable experience. We had been to Buenos Aires before, so this time we decided to stay a few nights in the downtown business district. As soon as we collected our luggage at the airport, a police officer approached us. We were a bit worried at first, but noticing the surprise on our faces, he smiled and kindly advised my wife and me to be careful with our phones, watches, and purses in the area. It was a thoughtful and impressive way for Argentina to welcome tourists. After spending 3 days enjoying local street food and exploring the city, we boarded the Viking Jupiter with all our belongings. It reminded me of a past experience in 2018, when I was unfortunately mugged twice within one week, from Rome Central Station to La Rambla in Barcelona. Our cruise began at the Buenos Aires cruise terminal with a few initial concerns, but everything soon went smoothly thanks to the helpful Viking customer service team, led by Christine. We had previously traveled to Brazil without needing a visa, but the policy had changed in the past year. We were required to obtain a visa to enter Brazil, and quite a few passengers, including us, were caught off guard. Fortunately, we were able to secure our visas online within 24 hours. Once on board, everything exceeded our expectations. The ship was beautifully designed — elegant yet comfortable — and never felt crowded. Our stateroom was thoughtfully arranged, clean, and very relaxing after long days of excursions. The cuisine on board was consistently excellent, offering both variety and refinement, and bringing joy to each day. Yet what made this journey truly unforgettable was the people. The staff’s warmth, kindness, and genuine care created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and incredibly welcoming. Viking clearly invests in exceptional training — every team member was professional, attentive, and always ready to meet any need with grace. They made us feel truly cared for, like a home away from home in the middle of the ocean. Life on board struck a perfect balance between vibrant and peaceful. We enjoyed the entertainment and daily activities, but also deeply treasured the quiet moments — watching the endless horizon, reflecting, and simply feeling grateful to be part of such a beautiful journey. We would especially like to express our heartfelt appreciation to a few remarkable individuals who made our experience even more special: Mr. Seymour, the Cruise Director, and his right man Harry were the absolutely delightful presence on board. They have a great sense of humor, lively personality, and ability to bring laughter and relaxation to every evening truly made a difference in our journey. They created such a joyful atmosphere and gave us many moments of happiness that we will always remember. Ruby, Angel, and the young gentleman Rodcleff from Guest Services were always kind, patient, and ready to assist with anything we needed. A special mention goes to Ms. Ruby, who was consistently calm, polite, and welcoming, always greeting guests with a beautiful and warm smile even on the midnight or an early morning. Krisna Wibawa, Head Waiter, along with Ian Alcaide, Anne, and Kanokkan, Assistant Waiters, for their attentive and thoughtful service throughout our meals. Christopher, Café Attendant — a special mention to this young man for his incredible energy, humility, and dedication. No matter where he was, whether in the buffet area or elsewhere like tea room, he was always quick, attentive, and hardworking, bringing a positive spirit to every moment. Jackie, Café Attendant, for her kindness and warm service. I would also like to recognize a wonderful lady from Africa who worked as a manager at the World Café (I sincerely apologize for not remembering her name). She was always moving quickly throughout every corner of the restaurant, and it was clear that she was constantly thinking, working, and supporting everyone around her — from guests to her colleagues and team members. Her energy, dedication, and strong work ethic truly stood out. Watching her, I felt she must have easily doubled my 10,000 steps each day on the ship. Her commitment and presence did not go unnoticed, and she made a meaningful impact on our experience. We are also very grateful to Made and his colleague, our stateroom stewards, who cared for our room with such consistency and attention to detail, ensuring our comfort every single day. We accidentally dropped some strawberries on our bed—just one or two small lightly stains. But when we came back after dinner, our bed had been replaced with a new, crystal-white cover.” Amazingly. Loraine at the Pool Bar, along with the entire pool grill team, created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Their teamwork, friendliness, and positive energy truly stood out and made every visit special. The delicious seared ahi tuna, onions ring, wings and salad bar is always fresh and clean. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to General Manager Ronald, whose leadership played a vital role in creating such a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. We especially admire his professionalism, kindness, patience, and his ability to thoughtfully handle every situation with care. From the good, the bad also the ugly... A special thank you to Desak, the barista, whose warm smile brightened each morning as she prepared my coffee after my daily walk — even before the end of her shift, she continued to serve with genuine warmth and dedication. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the talented sous chefs and short-order cooks who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. The seafood and sushi sections were always fresh and beautifully prepared, while the Asian dishes brought wonderful variety and flavor to each day. A very special mention goes to the pizza chef behind the counter, who made incredibly delicious pizzas every single day. The quality and consistency were so impressive that it became part of our daily routine — we simply couldn’t resist having one or two slices each day. Truly, some of the best pizza we’ve ever had!Your dedication, skill, and passion for what you do did not go unnoticed and added so much joy to our experience. What truly impressed us was their incredible attention to detail and remarkable memory — from the very first time we visited their station, they remembered our preferences and even anticipated our needs. They remembered our names after the very first meeting, which made us feel genuinely seen and valued. It is this level of care and personal touch that made us feel deeply appreciated throughout the journey. Honestly, on a cruise of this length, we met many travelers who relied on canes or wheelchairs. This made us appreciate even more the patience, attentiveness, and compassion of the staff, who were always ready to assist with kindness and respect, ensuring that every guest felt comfortable and cared for. It also made me reflect that in a few more years, I might be one of those travelers myself — and that thought deepened my gratitude for the dedication, professionalism, and heartfelt care that the staff extend to every guest on board. Thought. Thank you to the entire Viking team for creating such a memorable and touching voyage. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience to others and truly look forward to sailing with you again in the future. Max and Lam Room 5097. PS: I hope my note reaches Mr. Ronald, the General Manager, and all the staff I have mentioned here. Your worker members have come from far away, leaving behind their spouses, children, and parents at home to be on board, working for you and serving us. They truly deserve recognition and encouragement as they continue on their journey and adventures in life. Thank you for giving them the opportunity to shine.

It was an amazing excursion during which everything was organized perfectly with Maria as our guide. She knew a lot about all that we things we saw and experienced during the day, she gave very useful tips for our stay in Bergen and she was amazing with our kids. I recommend this excursion to everyone who has little time in Norway and wants to see some beautiful highlights outside of Bergen.

Excellent from start to finish!! Our guide was great. Very informative and friendly. We packed a lot into the day and it was very organised and ran like clockwork. So pleased I booked it . We saw more of this beautiful country with this trip as we were only here on a city break.

Tour was excellent as were the Tour Guides on the Day extremely well run and informative from start to finish, only thing I would say if you have booked from Bergan do a scouting mission day before as the Tour office isn't particularly prominent blink and you miss it but if you are towards the far end of the Fish Market on the opposite side of the Road you are definitely where the buses pick you up , Great Day really enjoyed it yes it is probably expensive as tours go but you do an awful lot in around 8hrs + highly recommended.
