Tvindefossen
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it. In the late 1990s the water at Tvindefossen acquired a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual potency that made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the U.S., Japan and Russia visiting and filling containers with the water. At one point it was Norway's ninth most visited natural attraction, with 272,000 visitors.
Stalheimskleiva
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The highway runs through a series of tunnels to descend into the valley. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the amazing view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.

Wonderful day trip venturing outside of Bergen. Informative commentary by Tracey and Michael. Beautiful scenery and really enjoyed visiting the Viking Villiage.

I have been on this trip twice in 2025 and 2026! By far the best tour you can’t take to get more bang for your buck. Michael was our tour guide in 2025 and Trish( I think) for 2026 and let me tell you they are the best.

Linda and Tracy were a fantastic driver and host/guide and helped make this trip wonderful. It hits all the major highlights without being exhausting. The timings are fair and reasonable for each stop, there are enough stops to make sure you get to stretch your legs and don’t feel like you spent the day sitting on a bus. We did another trip 2 days later with a different group on another Fjord and it was a marked contrast. This one has really hit the sweet spot between showing too much and leaving you exhausted, and showing too little. It was balanced to perfection. We had allowed a rest day without any bookings after this tour, as a day to recover, as we knew this was a long tour, but we didn’t need the rest day - if you can’t exhaust two 60+ year olds then you’re doing something very right. It was a great day - I’m just going to need a month to process all the photos I took.

A very busy but extremely worthwhile excursion. We were warmly welcomed at the tour office and introduced to Tracey our guide and Linda our driver both of whom were excellent at communicating relevant information each stage of our journey. Both train journeys were comfortable and as we were lucky enough to have good weather we were able to admire and photograph the stunning scenery. The fjord cruise was very comfortable with good viewing areas and all areas were accessible by ramps. The café had a good variety of snacks and hot and cold food. After the cruise we visited the Viking village, listened to a very informative talk on Viking culture and took part in the axe throwing activity. Throughout the day there were several stops for photo opportunities at spectacular waterfalls. Finally we had a relaxing bus trip back to Bergen.

The trip is a good overview of the Bergen to Flam area. Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgable and organized at keeping the tour moving. We started by but from Bergen and saw the countryside as we made our way to the train 90 minutes away. Then we boarded a train that took us the rest of the way to Flam. There we boarded a ship to ride through 3 fjords before disembarking back to our bus for the ride back to Bergen. Many beautiful waterfalls and the countryside was spectacular. 10 hours in total and worth every minute.

Considering was only in Bergen for 4days this tour was great choice to cover everything I needed to see. Nærøyfjord cruise was breathtaking with peaceful landscape and lush landscape for Sept weather. Viking village was so serene surrounded by moutains and clouds. Amazing waterfals especially as we stopped by platfrom going through Flam railway. Tour guides were friendly and felt we covered quite a range, overall worth it.
