Tvindefossen
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it. In the late 1990s the water at Tvindefossen acquired a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual potency that made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the U.S., Japan and Russia visiting and filling containers with the water. At one point it was Norway's ninth most visited natural attraction, with 272,000 visitors.
Stalheimskleiva
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The highway runs through a series of tunnels to descend into the valley. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the amazing view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.

A great day to get a feel of the great outdoors close to Bergen - spectacular scenery, peaceful boat ride, amazing train journey and the Viking village gave an insight to those times.

This is a must do trip. This is the only guided tour we did in Bergen and was 100% worth it. We were with Michael and Lynda, who were a great team. Surprisingly, we had great weather (for the area). The Viking village was authentic. Cute gift shop. The boat is a five minute walk from the Viking village. We sat on the upper deck of the boat in the center and still had a great view. Don’t get anxiety about where you sit. Bring a light raincoat. We had about 40 minutes in Flam to shop at the gift shops or get a bite to eat before the train. Either side of the train is good. We sat on the right and I would do that again. The scenery is gorgeous. Michael had our own car reserved for us. That was a plus because there were several tour groups that did not have the personal space requirements that many feel more comfortable with. You travel on a big bus to the Viking village and then the big bus takes you back from where you get off the train in Voss. The bus was brand new and very comfortable. All in all a great tour. I would give it more than five stars if I could. Food is on the fly and we had lunch on the boat. It was meh, and the line was long. They asked that you do not eat your own food on the boat but I saw others eating a more nutritious lunch than was offered that they had brought.

The bus trip & Viking Village visit was ok but the fjord trip was an ordeal. The boat was severely overcrowded (hundreds of people and not the "max of 50 per group" advertised) and there was no place to sit down for 2 hours. Also, they had some basic food (eg pizza, hot dogs) and drinks for sale on board but there were constant cues to purchase. If you take this tour I suggest you eat before you board the boat and prepare yourself to stand for the duration of the cruise. The railway trip to Flam afterwards was lacklustre. It stopped once at a waterfall but there were too many people to actually see it. The whole trip felt like a tourist trap.

My wife and I visited Bergen for the first time to attend a work conference, and we signed up for this tour as a way to get an orienting introduction to the region. The tour was a VERY full day that covered started with some history of Bergen as we wound through town on the way up into the mountains, a lot of fun and accessible commentary about modern life in Norway from the friendly guide along the way, a deep dive into Viking history at a living history village (with lots of fun activities including axe throwing and archery, along with locally produced crafts), a scenic fjord cruise on an amazing, eco-friendly catamaran, and a short journey on one of the steepest and most gorgeous train journeys in the world. A really great option for folks who want a little taste of lots of different parts of the history, geography, and culture of western Norway in a concentrated (11 hour) swath of time and without having to make a bunch of independent travel arrangements on one's own. Linda and Ivan were wonderful hosts. Would absolutely recommend!

As a fairly well travelled couple we were initially slightly skeptical of a guided tour, having never actually made use of a tour company before. The slightly above average cost of the Tour the Fjords package and the excellent reviews made us think we'd made the right choice choosing this company for our Norway fjord trip. Michael (tour guide) and Linda (driver) were an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Michael was knowledgeable and entertaining, and great at ensuring we all stayed together as a group. Linda's driving was absolutely spot on. The 12 or so hour trip itself was nothing short of spectacular. The views need to be seen to be believed. I'm normally not one to take pictures of holiday but I literally couldn't put my phone camera down, every other minute there was another spectacular view. We had a few concerns about the parts where the tour merged with public groups however, for the train journey a private cabin had been arranged which we had free rein of, and the ferry crossing there was plenty of room to walk around, sit and see the sights. In summary I couldn't recommend this tour enough if you're considering the longer form fjord trip.

We had an amazing day thanks to Mikael our guide who was very informative and friendly. He kept us on time without us feeling rushed at any point. We stopped at the Viking, which was very informative and life like. The highlight was the scenic luxury boat, where the views of the landscape were breathtaking! The railway was also so so scenic. I would recommend this trip to all my friends and family. It is expensive but I can honestly say it’s worth it!
