Tvindefossen
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it. In the late 1990s the water at Tvindefossen acquired a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual potency that made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the U.S., Japan and Russia visiting and filling containers with the water. At one point it was Norway's ninth most visited natural attraction, with 272,000 visitors.
Stalheimskleiva
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The highway runs through a series of tunnels to descend into the valley. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the amazing view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.

I took the tour with my 80 year old mother. It was a long day but an absolutely beautiful day. She had no problem navigating all the activities. The tour guides were so lovely and always there to help us and keep us informed. We could not have asked for a better tour.

it was very expensive and disappointing. we had not enough time at the viking village ( only half hour), the cruise was too long (2 hours) and the flam train was not worth the hype. it had crammed seats, we had to stand up to see anything ,and the only stop was the waterfall which was nice but that’s it. the train also wasn’t steep as promised. the transfers between the cruise and the trains was messy and forced us to fight over seats

This experience provided exposure to Norway’s diverse beauty in the area northeast of Bergen, through an array of transport: motor coach (narrated tour as we passed through tunnels, and by villages, lakes, streams), walking (through Viking Village with an interesting presentation of the Viking life!), electric boat (Fjords!!), and two types of trains (waterfalls, villages, mountains and streams). Long day (10 hours) but truly felt comfortable with the idea of a return to further explore and relax in these beautiful areas.

Wonderful tour with great tour guides. It was a long tour 10.5 hours but it also covered a lot of interesting places. Loved visiting the Viking village. The cruise through fjord was absolutely breathtaking. We had beautiful weather. Our guides were with us throughout the day and they were very informative and courteous.

It was very good. A little too long for my taste, but then we saw an awful lot. We were lucky, the weather was spectacular for September and I think I would have preferred a bit more of walking, but Bergen has a lot of rain, so being in a warm, dry place i.e. bus/boat/train/bus is great. Our guides were very good, very knowledgeable, very nice. The views were amazing. We highly recommend the excursion. A few words that could make the experience a little better. I didn't understand from the description where we would be able to get food or drink during the tour. We brought our own, but it would have been nice to know the options.
