Total cost was 90 for me and my fiancé. It was our first time there. We arrived an hour early to familiarize ourselves with the area. The dock where the hard copy ticket was to be provided was easy to find. We parked in the aquarium parking(which was right next to the dock) and only paid 9 dollars after almost 4 hours of arriving. It was a easy and lively experience. You should take a windbreaker with a hoodie and gloves if you take the colder month tours. We saw 3 humpbacks and a class of dolphins(of about 200). Just the drive was beautiful, watching the city from the water was a must see for first timers. The narrator was awesome too. He walked around and talked to everyone and asked if we had questions. The boat had snacks and water which was nice since you can’t take in your own.

Great for kids of all ages. Crew was great. We saw so many dolphins, too many to count. Awesome birds and two whales.

Even though the boat had problems, they handled the situation with dignity and found another boat. Next time, it will work like a charm.

So fun - very educational, wonderful sunset. Saw a humpback whale and even got to see its tail. Saw tons of dolphins and some sea lions. The crew are so kind and they are volunteers from the Aquarium. I love being able to do this type of activity in my own backyard! Thank you!!!

My teen daughter LOVES dolphins & whales so when we came to California over winter break we found this place & good reviews. Do line up early if you want to get a seat for the 20-25 minute or so trip out to where they slow down & stop to see the dolphins. It was an amazing experience. The guide was very knowledgeable & you could see them from any area on the boat.

This experience was amazing! We saw soooo many dolphins!!! A whale, a seal and a sealion. It was so cool! It was cold when we were going and the wind was blowing but when we slowed down, it was a perfect day!! I wish I lived nearby so I could do this often!

Bought my ticket ahead of time which made getting my physical ticket (required). Plenty of space to sit inside and out. The commentator pointed out local landmarks in addition to how to spot whales and dolphins. We got to see a feeding frenzy with dolphins leaping out of the air. We quietly followed two whales and watched them breach several times each. Food, drinks, and restrooms were available. Highly recommend for families, too!

We appreciated the nice boat with snack stand and different seating and standing options. The guide was knowledgeable and did his best to make sure we saw as much as we could. We enjoyed that we were able to wait to see the humpback whale even though we were on the way back. We also liked how they were able to entice a pod of dolphins to “play” in the boat’s wake.

It was a great experience. Especially if you have never been out in the ocean before 10/10 would recommend it.

Wear sweater and avoid hats. It's very windy. Always be on the lookout, and with the cameras ready 🌅🐋🫶🏼
