Very knowledgeable guide on the tour. Got us very close to a number of Fin Whales and a pod of Dolphins playfully swimming alongside and underneath the boat.

Great narration. Uncrowded. Saw lots of dolphins, multiple sightings of a fin whale, sea lions. Boat well designed for indoor or outdoor viewing. Looking forward to repeating the experience next visit to the area.

For your two and a half hour tour, expect 45 minutes to an hour to get to where the whales are, but you will likely be able to get fairly close to them. You will have a naturalist (and other volunteers) from the aquarium giving information and commentary along the way. We were super lucky to see orcas! Don’t expect that but you might get lucky!

We didn’t see whales, but everyone was kind, informative, and we saw some really cool dolphin pods.

Everything was fantastic! However, we were disappointed to miss seeing any whales. Despite this, our tour guide was incredibly entertaining, and the entire ride was smooth and enjoyable. Just be sure to bring a windproof jacket and wear jeans, as the weather can be chilly.

While we did not see whales on this particular excursion, we did see many dolphins and birds. The lengthy boat ride was wonderful and worth the full fee by itself. The educational staff were informative and very responsive to questions. Everything was very clean and there were reasonably priced concessions. The one minor annoyance is the many daily text reminders sent alerting you to get a paper ticket, which can only be done at the pier. The digital one you download first doesn’t work for entry. I recommend that process change so digital tickets work by themselves. That is the only reason for the four star rating instead of five. Great experience overall.
