This guided trip will take you on one of Norway’s most popular and spectacular hikes. It is for good reason that this hike has gained its popularity with visitors to Norway and locals alike. Situated only a few hours from Stavanger, Pulpit Rock – or Preikestolen in Norwegian – is a towering cliff-plateau directly suspended over Lysefjorden. To stand (or sit) so close to the edge is probably the moment that hikers look forward to the most, although it is no easy deed. The top offers unobstructed views over the meandering blue fjord that was formed by the glaciers during the last Ice Age, making it a good spot to enjoy a photo session and possibly a light snack.

A great trip up Preikestolen. The guide, Helga was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. We were provided with crampons which worked really well as some parts of the trail were quite icy and full of snow. It got easier once you past the first part of the trail, so keep going! The top was very quiet and we were lucky to have a clear and beautiful sunny day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Incredible experience. The trek was very beautiful and fun. It is not difficult for an average physical state. The weather in the pulpit was not the best and the Fjord could not be seen due to the fog, but it did not detract from the experience of being up there. Hege our guide is a magnificent and very prepared professional. Thanks for everything!!!
