What To Expect

This is a private trip from your Brasov or Poiana Brasov hotel to your future accommodation in Gura Humorului, Bucovina. I couldn’t be more pleased with the Holiday to Romania team and my 7-day private tour of Transylvania. One night, I slept in a centuries-old inn next door to Dracula’s birthplace! My guides, Dan and Alex, were super friendly and highly knowledgeable, they spoke excellent English, and they provided impeccable service — going above and beyond to accommodate my limited mobility during the tour. Since my grandparents were born in Romania, “Genealogy Day” was the highlight for me. Starting with very limited information, HTR was able to find and introduce me to relatives I never knew I had — even arranging a homemade lunch in a house on the exact street my grandmother lived on 100 years ago! Romania is a beautiful, fascinating and friendly country, and Holiday to Romania is the best way to experience it.
