This is not only about the hanbok rental, but also providing a space for tourists to understand Korean culture and enjoy the experience of wearing a hanbok. Rentals range from 1.5 hours to 4 hours. You can choose either a basic hanbok, or a hanbok with a theme.

The time for selection is a half-hour. If you exceed the 30 minutes, the exceeded time will be considered part of the rental time.
You can try on a hanbok twice
If you exceed the return time, there is extra charge: -Traditional hanbok: 1,000 won per 10 minutes (1 person) -Theme hanbok: 2,000 won per 10 minutes (1 person).
If the hanbok is damaged or dirtied, there is an extra charge so please be careful.
If you lose the accessories and/or the locker key, you will be responsible for paying for those items.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect
▷Themed Hanbok A more colorful and fancy pattern style, including king's and queen’s hanboks. ▷Traditional Hanbok What Korean people wear at holiday. It is a graceful and a pleasantly simple hanbok. ▷Self studio (only at Gyeongbokgung Palace branch) A studio where customers can take picture themselves. There are 15 kinds of Korean traditional sets and various historical backgrounds. ▷Hair styling / Accessories You can have perfect hanbok styling as you have gorgeous hair styling service by the staff and use of various accessories. Hair styling is free. Accessories are an extra charge. ▷Rental Times From 1.5 hours to 4 hours (during operating hours)

3.00There are plenty of Korean dishes in the store to choose from, and the customer service is also friendly. I'm in an electric wheelchair, on trip.com I saw that there are accessibility facilities to choose this shop, to know nothing, difficult to access, only in the door to communicate and change, can not choose the favorite model, this is very unhappy!
Go to any other local shop and you'll have a much better experience with nicer clothing!

1.00This place is an impersonal machine with poor-quality hanboks. There are LOTS of other options on the same block, and any one of them will give you a better experience while also giving you a better hanbok. As we were walking around the palace for the next hour, I couldn't help but notice how much better quality everyone else's hanboks were than ours. Do yourself a favor - walk into any other shop that this one!

5.00We planned to go early to the palace so the hanbok rental place was not packed yet and we were accommodated right away and my hair was done quickly! There were a lot of dresses and accessories to choose from. I only chose the standard hanbok and it looked awesome! I recommend this place 100%!!

5.00This was a wonderful experience! We had a great time picking out our attire to tour the palace in. The customer service was excellent and very friendly! I would definitely recommend this! We even got in the palace for free bc we were dressed in the traditional Hanbok attire!

5.00Loved this experience. Got there for first 9am appointment and was taken right away. Picked out from a large variety of hanbok- so many beautiful options! Got my hair done- loved the braids- was included in the package. Put personal items on locker and walked around Gyeongbokgung Palace for about 2 hours - location conveniently only a block away. Chose the theme hanbok which had much more fancy variety than the traditional. Recommend going early to avoid the crowds!

5.00This shop had a very foreigner friendly presence, with not only the signs being in English but the staff also spoke English as well. The staff are wonderful and were very helpful with guiding you and helping you with your Hanbok. This experience made going to the Palace even more special and enjoyable.

2.00I had a disappointing experience at Hanboknam. The service was poor — the staff were unhelpful and seemed too stressed to assist customers. The process felt rushed, and I didn’t feel welcomed or guided properly when selecting or fitting the hanbok. For a place that caters to tourists and special cultural experiences, I expected a lot more professionalism and friendliness. I wouldn’t recommend this hanbok rental to anyone
