Due to the currents and tides, as well as waste from other places flowing into Ha Long Bay, sometimes you will see garbage in Ha Long Bay. The government, local people, tourism companies... are making efforts every day to clean Ha Long Bay.
Ha Long Bay is Vietnam’s top destination and it is often crowded every day, special in summer and weekends. However, we always ensure smooth logistics and top-quality service for your best experience.
Plastic water bottles are provided for free on the bus. However, please do not bring plastic bottles when checking in to the Ha Long Bay cruise, as they are not allowed on board.

What To Expect
Halong Bay
• 08:00 – 08:40: Our modern Bus picks up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Halong Bay via highway (2.5 hours, stop ~15 minutes to restroom) (Option Pick up Hanoi). Arrival Tuan Chau Port at noon, cruise through the turquoise waters and admire the rock formations, islets: Incense, Bunner, Cock Fighting... Soak in the breathtaking surroundings while enjoying a Vietnamese Lunch on cruise. 13h30: Your exploration with a visit to the renowned Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) - the longest, biggest cave of Ha Long Bay. Admire the shimmering stalactites that take on countless unique shapes. Take a kayak/bamboo boat to discover the stunning Hang Luon Cave. Feel the warmth of the sun as you pass by the famous Ti Top Island. Take a refreshing dip in the water or trek to the summit of Ti Top for panoramic views of the bay. Afterward, relax for a while before returning to the boat for a Sunset Party with light foods and fruits. Following your cruise, return to your hotel in Hanoi by 9 PM.

5.00All in all a great day—not too hectic either. We had Alex as our tour guide, and he was super lovely. Very polite, friendly, and extremely proactive about making sure you’re having a good and comfortable time! We enjoyed because of him. :) Food on the cruise itself is average, and tea is served somewhat cold. But because the day was planned well it didn’t bother us much.

5.00Ha Long Bay has many boat tour options but we would recommend our experience with guide Alex and Hercules Luxury cruise. The crew sets a tentative itinerary but is willing to pivot during the day so you see the islands when they are less busy. It’s worth keeping in mind that the stops in this tour have many other boats and other tourists. You’ll spend time in line and with crowds, particularly for the Surprising Caves. This is a popular area with many other tours coming to the same places. The crew provides a very full lunch and afternoon tea break, and the cruise overall is not crowded so there are many places on the boat to relax and enjoy the view. One of the stops has an extra activity options of exploring on a speedboat which has additional cost but allows you to see the smaller islands up close. If you’re looking to see the sights of Ha Long Bay then we’d recommend this tour. But if you’re hoping for quiet landscapes then this may not be the destination for you.

5.00Can highly recommend this day trip and cruise. Jason (Tang) was our very knowledgeable guide. We were picked up and dropped off right outside our accom on the bus and given a bottle of water for the drive to the marina. We were on a very nice three story cruise ship (bottom level for dining for our group, second level for another group's dining, and the third level was a rooftop with plenty of seating and a jacuzzi to enjoy the sunset. The day has three stops. The first to Ti Top island, where you can hike to the top for panoramic views. There are lots of other boats coming and going around the same time, so I would suggest climbing as soon as you arrive (as it almost takes longer to climb down). You can also swim at this location. The second location is Song Sut cave, which is very cool to walk through. The final location has three choices. Two are free, but we choose the optional $10 USD / 250k VND option which was a speedboat tour to a few spots out in the bay. Our speedboat operator was very entertaining and it was cool to see extra locations. Disposable water bottles are not permitted in the bay, so best to bring a reusable water. You need to pay for all drinks on the cruise. Can highly recommend this trip, was excellent value for money. I intially thought I would regret not having a multi day cruise, but I feel I saw and did everything I needed.

5.00Not rating the place, but rating the experience. We were picked up from our hotel earlier than expected which was great. Our guide Hoang (Alex) was very knowledgeable of the whole place (history), his recommendations, and was very kind and accomodating. The whole tour was as promised, back in Hanoi on expected time.
