I kinda expected it was a small group but there was 40 of us and then there were a lot of different ships, so many people for a weekday, but it was still fun. Sunny was so good and very knowledgeable and accommodating. Fun and engaging: thank you Sunny!

The full day tour, although a long day, was worth every minute. An amazing tour guide, full of knowledge and history. He was funny and had many of us laughing all day. The views are spectacular and it is worth the climbs up the varied, hills and stairs. I would highly recommend this tour if you don't want to do an overnight tour. Only one word comes to mind when you are out on the water. Wow!

Our tour with our guide Long was nothing short of spectacular. From the confirmation notice the day prior to the tour, to us stepping off the bus right in front of our hotel following our full day, we were kept in the loop about what our day entailed. Long taught us so much about Vietnam's heritage, as well as Hanoi and Halong Bay's histories. As we travelled on the bus to Halong Bay, he gave us insights into the sights we passed which we weren't expecting, and once on the boat travelling around Halong Bay, he both shared more of his knowledge and allowed us free time to do as we pleased. During the outings in Halong Bay, he spoke with such enthusiasm and knowledge that we were all left stunned, not only by the views but by his words. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide to show us around, and recommend him to anyone travelling to Halong Bay. Also the bus was very comfortable with food and toilet breaks along the way. Overall, the boat ride was spectacular! Amazing scenery everywhere!
