  This is an excellent experience that everyone should partake in. This tour company will take you to all of the major stops in one day, which is great if you have a tight schedule. The tour guide was very informative and helpful! Highly recommend booking this excursion.

  Very nice day at Halong Bay, our guide Alex was very kind and attentive. He supervises his group very well and the organization is very fluid. We took the speed boat option which adds a real plus to the cruise.

  the guides themselves were absolutely lovely and there’s nothing they could have done differently. however, the tour itself was poorly organized (i got moved guides and busses a few times). ha long bay itself was sadly heaving with tourists and boats (including myself!) queuing for viewpoints and photos which takes away from the atmosphere. the boat i was on for some bewildering reason blared 00s dubstep remixes of pop songs at a volume that would wake the dead while we sailed through the most serene scenery, killing the moment.

  The trip was scenic and interesting with the unique geography. We liked that our boat was relatively small, compared to massive boats we saw all day with 100s of tourists. They served a nice meal right away as we headed out to the bay. We wish some of the dishes in sauces had serving spoons, though; it got kind of messy. I was hoping for more educational messages about the area, but the guide did not offer much. We stopped three times at “commercial “ spots with seemingly 100s of other tour boats, so it was very crowded. At one, we got to kayak for 20 minutes in a beautiful cove reached by paddling through a tunnel. The place was quite crowded not only with the kayaks, but larger boats holding about 12 people and rowed by the operators. You also could take a speed boat out around the larger area for a fee, but I don’t think any of the people on our boat elected to do that. The final stop was the Surprise Cave, and it was amazing. Again, seemingly 100s of tour boats were there, so it was extremely crowded, but once you (slowly) entered the cave after climbing many stairs, it was incredible to walk through on a guided path. Getting on and off our boat onto the island involved steep, slippery steps, so you need to be sure-footed. The operator guys helped us older folks. On the cruise back, they served tea and cake, and our guide played his flute, which was cool. The only bad thing for us was some communication asking about pick-up. We chose this tour because it said “Halong Port Pick-up”. It turns out that they should not use the word “pick-up” because there was no pick-up involved. You had to find your own way to the marina where the tour began. When we saw Halong Port Pick-up, we assumed it was our cruise ship port where they would pick us up. Well, it took numerous emails and WhatsApp messages over many days trying to clear up this misunderstanding. The reality was, it was Tien Chau Port Start , and you get there yourself.

  Nice and good trip with the whole family. Where we also saw little bavians. Breakfast was super delicious with seafood and fish. Remember to take a drinking tank with water as you cannot have plastic bottles on board

  Perfect for us! One day from Hanoi with a pick-up at our hotel and a return. Maybe 11+ hours total. We met so many awesome people from all over the world. Our guide Alex was phenomenal in every way. The brochure does not say enough about how wonderful it is. They don’t just serve lunch, it was dish after dish of excellent cuisine, more like a feast! We did the bamboo. boat option through the cave but did not do the hill climb. HaLong Bay is exceptional even in cloudy weather.A big thank you to the entire team that put this together. You will take many photos!

  Oh, good. Alex was a genius. (our guide). I recommend and would come back. As is the description of what is done. Beautiful scenery, very rich food and excellent guide
