What To Expect
Hai Van Pass
07:00 – 7:30 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel reception in Hoi An and collect visitors in Da Nang from 08:00 – 08:30 am. Start your journey to Hue by crossing one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass or the Hai Van Tunnel. You will have 30 minutes to stop at the peak and 5-10 minutes to take photos at Lap An Lagoon, which is the highlight of the beautiful view of Lang Co beach.

5.00Hue should be a must-see when in Vietnam. Initially I was worried it would be a really long and exhausting day of mainly driving from Hoi An, but there are nice stops on the way and we had a great and attentive tour guide (Ryan), who made the day really enjoyable! I definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Owen as a tour guide was exceptional. His knowledge of the history that related to our tour was of a very high standard. Not sure if it was possible but would have loved to have stopped at the historical border post that once separated South and North Vietnam. Our day involved departing Hoi An and ending up in Hue, staying the night and moving on tomorrow. Next visit I will definitely stay longer in Hue; it is a beautiful, beautiful city. Thanks again Owen; you made the day what it was. Yet another exceptional day in Vietnam which continues to surprise.😀

5.00Our trip was made extra special because of our tour guide, Mr. Chau. He was very attentive to our needs. He greeted us at the airport and accompanied us until we entered security during our return trip. We had a van that accomodated 9 people even though our group was only 5 people. Our tour included meals and often times the food was already set when we got to the restaurant. Mr. Chau provided us with umbrellas and plenty of ice cold water during this very hot season.

5.00i had fun during our day tour at the various places of hué (citadel/imperial city, lap an lagoon, hai van pass, mausoleum of emperor khai dinh, and thien mu pagoda). the foods served during lunch was delicious. ryan, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable on the history and details of each places we visited.
