What To Expect
Hai Van Pass
07:00 – 7:30 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel reception in Hoi An and collect visitors in Da Nang from 08:00 – 08:30 am. Start your journey to Hue by crossing one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass or the Hai Van Tunnel. You will have 30 minutes to stop at the peak and 5-10 minutes to take photos at Lap An Lagoon, which is the highlight of the beautiful view of Lang Co beach.

4.00This is a really good for those interested in History of Vietnam post Vietnam war. I learnt a lot about Vietnam history. It is a long tour and you will need to have stamina Hue is a lot hotter than Da Nang so drink plenty of water.

5.00Our guide was excellent and the driver handled the hair-raising swithchbacks on Hai Van Pass masterfully. Our restaurant stop had tasty food. Water was provided during the trip and it was necessary. Hue is hot in late April and this is a long tour. But the van is air-conditioned and we had frequent stops on the way. Our guide, My An (?), spoke excellent English and was very patient with us wandering photographers. She made sure no one got lost and that we stayed on schedule.
