What To Expect
The Hakone Open-Air Museum
The Open-Air Museum is Japan's first outdoor museum with sculpture as its exhibition theme. It is located in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture. The sculpture garden displays works by Henry Moore, Rodin, and others on an area of 70,000 square meters with rich natural scenery. You can enjoy the art works in a picnic mood.
Owaku-dani Valley
Owakudani is located in Hakone City, southeast of Mount Fuji. It is a famous tourist attraction in Fuji-Hakone. Owakudani, a Japanese tourist attraction, is the remains of a crater formed by a volcanic eruption in the northern belly of the sacred mountain at the end of the Hakone volcanic activity about 400,000 years ago. It is also called "the Great Hell". Most of the spring water in Owakudani is poisonous. It was originally called Oojigoku, which was formed by the eruption of Mount Hakone 3,000 years ago. It was renamed Owakudani in 1876 when Emperor Meiji visited there.

4.00There was no set schedule for activities, so there wasn't a sense of urgency to rush. Because of that it's good for the family with children or elderlies, especially in inclement weather. The driver was very nice. He took us to all the places that we requested. Lastly, it would be a good idea to have a plan before you talk to the driver.

5.00We went on a customized private tour. It turned out to be one of the best decisions. Our tour guide was very helpful and helped us design a great tour plan. The tour was great and we had a blast. Highly recommend this company. My family and I had a great time with the beauty of Mount Fuji and it was all thanks to an excellent driver. He was very patient with us. He also made some suggestions to make the tour more memorable which I really appreciated. The customer service was very responsive, detailed and patient in replying messages. The driver was very punctual, very polite, spoke very good English and the vehicle was very clean. We would rate this experience very highly! We booked a private luxury van for 1 day and it completely met our expectations. Our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area which made our tour very smooth. He always discussed with us the next destination and suggested a few great stops for us to add. He was very polite and considerate and even offered to take photos for us at some of the sights. His time management was very efficient and he picked us up on time and dropped us off at all the stops within 9 hours. We loved the service of this company and being able to customize our itinerary. Thank you for making our stay in Mount Fuji easy, comfortable, and memorable! We will definitely use your company again! We had a great trip to Mt Fuji and beautiful lakes.
