This is a kayaking tour with a difference. This trip takes you from Lanta to the beautiful islands.
The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel at 8 am or 13pm. You will be transferred to Tungyeepeng Pier (on Lanta’s northeast coast) where we board the longtail boat and head to Ko Aung. Enjoy floating by kayak into the Mangrove Forest of Tungyeepeng. This is a beautiful spot for exploration, monkey feeding, unique lizard and colourful bird watching. We then continue to Koh Aung Island to explore Koh Talabeng sea cave by kayak, after which, we end our exploration and head back toward Tungyeepeng Pier.

4.00We had a great day exploring islands and mangroves, boat and equipment was great. However, we booked a full day and the other couple on our tour had booked a full tour. Therefore we were automatically on the full day without being told. Luckily we didn’t need to be anywhere otherwise this would have been a big problem. Our guide and boat driver were great, even though there were some language barriers. A fair amount of fitness and mobility is needed for this tour, you will need to kayak for an hour and getting in and out of the boat into the ocean is not very accessible for small children or elderly.
Good way to spend an afternoon.

4.00More time on a long tail boat than anything else, but it was still a good way to spend an afternoon seeing something different. The guide had limited English, so was a bit hard to get any details, but he communicated the basics well. Monkey feeding was a highlight, as were the views.

3.00The kayaking and caves were exceptional. I would recommend doing this experience. However, it was a stressful day with this company. I signed up for a half day, but the driver/owner "upgraded" me (switched me without telling me) to full day trip. This was because I was the only person who signed up for a half day, not full day, and he put me on that boat without sharing this information. Once I discovered this, it was very stressful and I had to switch boats to another company to get back to shore on time.

5.00Great tour. Stunning scenery, especially the first island you stop at. Skull Island, so cool. The guides were lovely lads, very animated & talkative with great English. Highly recommended. Bring lots of suncream!
