Our tour was probably 3 star at the most. Our guide while lovely, he was not realistically on any level an English speaking guide. He merely read from a phone and even lost himself at times in his explanations. The first vineyard we visited was Lanciola… this was very basic and lacked any sort of welcome. There were no non-alcoholic options and I was told a coffee would be €2 which I agreed to, however then when I was paying on the way out another lady tried to charge €3… not a lot of money in the big scheme but really appeared mercenary on their side. There bread was only suitable to throw to birds during the winter.. tiny stale bits softened with oil. This trip was only redeemed by the Tenuta Torciano vineyard such a different level of a vineyard and welcome.. Dino our guide there was informative, funny and professional. Food and wine were super here and very generous amounts of both. Well done Dino & family.

Easy meet up. First vineyard was excellent. Very entertaining and good wine and appetizers. Second vineyard, although beautiful, was just ok. Wine was just ok and nothing to eat. Bus was comfortable. I would recommend
