Meet your friendly tour guide at Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal. Piazzale Montelungo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Santa Maria Novella train station. Grab a seat on the comfortable coach bus, and prepare to depart! During your journey to the Chianti wine region, your guide will dive into fascinating facts and information regarding the history of wine production and Gallo Nero (Black rooster). The drive will take about 40 minutes

Antonio drove in a safe and quick manner. I felt safe the entire time. Gabrielle is a wonderful guide, He had a lot of useful information to share. The Wine was delicious. Totally recommend it!!!

Very disorganised.starts far too late and you only get 1 vineyard tour before it’s dark.left late from Florence and tour was full of boring narrative . Very difficult to understand.

It is a VERY big tour group - like 40-50 people (fills up a large tour bus), so it is quite hard to feel very engaged / involved. The winery tours were also quite high level, so I didn’t feel like I learnt a lot about the Chianti wine region. We tasted 3 wines at each of the 2 wineries - all of bottles were generally under €25 so not very good quality wines. The timing of starting at 2.30pm in the winter is also a pity as it gets all dark after the first wine tour and you can’t enjoy the beautiful Tuscan scenery. We knew this would happen but couldn’t find an earlier starting tour. This was the most affordable tour option we found, so I guess it’s fair you get what you pay for. I would say this is a tour more suitable for people who are simply looking for an easy day out, but if you are passionate about wine and are looking for a more engaging learning experience about the region and wine making process, I would suggest going for another tour.

I will have to say I have done so many tours in Italy in the past few years and this tour did feel a little off with how it started and the engagement of the tour guide. The wineries chosen and the energy of the staff and individuals on the tour were great and truly made the trip. I would have to say the tour guide lacked the energy to really engage and be attentive to the group. She was sweet but I feel maybe proper engagement training would improve the tour. Still would recommend this tour based off the wineries visited.

Overalll, the guide and bus driver were very nice and informative. Wine tasting was ok- vineyards were good to see. This tour should consider changing the start time- 2nd vineyard was beautiful place but you could not see because of time of day- dark. Had to ask for more wine to taste- overall would not recommend- sadly!

The wineries were wonderful and the tour overall was enjoyable. However, the tour guide was not very engaging and spent most of the time chatting with the driver, which made her presence feel unnecessary.

An amazing experience from start to finish. We loved learning about Tuscan wines—and tasting them, of course! The two wineries offered completely different styles, making the tour feel diverse, dynamic, and truly memorable. A special shout-out to Anna, our tour guide, who did a fantastic job and made the experience even better. Getting to know the other people on the tour was an unexpected highlight as well. Overall, a must-do experience if you’re visiting Florence!
