This half-day tour gives you an exceptional experience to discover the real Mexico far from postcards, luxury hotels and tourists. You go with your guide to visit a school for underprivileged children (outside school holidays) where you can attend classes, interact with the children, take photos, take a short walk. Then, set off to meet the local population with a visit to a local market where you will taste fruits and spices, flavored waters, empanadas, visit a butcher's shop, a tortillera... Authentic human experience!

What To Expect

Playa del Carmen

We will begin the excursion by visiting a school for children in need. Then we will visit the community cenote. Then, we will go to a local market and visit traditional shops - tortillas, lavender, water of flavors, grocery, butcher. At the end, we will visit a church and/or a traditional cemetery.

We went out turtles, aqua wonder, cultural tour and Yucatan with Marion as guide always at the top. It’s always great to be in small groups and in beautiful places.
Great day at holbox with Marion who is at the top yesterday and today very rewarding cultural day again with Go on.

Good evening, everyone. This is our stay in Mexico 🇲🇽 ends tomorrow and we especially wanted to thank Martin without whom we would NEVER have known our little Marion who made us discover Aqua wonder and the cultural tour with Dia de los Muertos. Thank you very much for your professionalism at all. Thanks again to Marion for accompanying us to discover the REAL side of Playa del Carmen. Nice overview of local life in Playa DEL Carmen, but shorter than we were told. At the time of purchase we were told that the visit would be from 8am to 3pm but we did from 9:15am to 1:30pm about

We were well received by the guide Marion who gave us many explanations. Small group tour we were 5, it's nice and friendly cold drinks and cakes offered along the way, we can leave our personal effects in the van during the outings We were the only visitors to excursions no mass tourists and opportunity to chat with locals Half day very nice

We loved this cultural tour. We were able to visit a school, a cemetery, a local market and a Mexican family (far away from the bling bling side of the beaches of Playa del Carmen - real Mexico in short). The agency only takes small groups which makes the tours very pleasant. The guide was great and very attentive. We recommend this very serious agency. (It is recommended by the backpacker's guide).
