There is some access to the bus, if you have a Walker or a Wheelchair, but these items must be folded. There is a small step. There are handles each side of the door to help.
Strollers must be foldable.
In consideration of other guests, if you are un-well, please do not participate on the tour. I will refund.

What To Expect
Ferry Building
Our main pick up point is alongside the Ferry Building on Queens Wharf. There's a pick-up & drop off area, that's the spot. Alternatively, we offer 4 central pick-up locations. Let us know where you are staying and we will advise the closest pick-up point. This is a very comprehensive tour and we pack a lot into the 3.5 to 4 hours. You will get a real feel for Auckland. It's geography, history, sights, and our way of life. This tour is family run, and the commentary is detailed, full of insights from a local perspective and delivered with humor.
Viaduct Harbour
We drive along the downtown waterfront area, past the Viaduct Harbour, which is one of Auckland top "going out" spots. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Lots of boats, and home to the America's Cup yachts, and Whale & Dolphin watching boats

5.00I highly recommend this tour for an overview of the beauty of this city. I enjoyed the smaller group, having a more intimate tour of the many different areas of Auckland (many not included on the hop-on/off tour) and the very informative guide and driver. Appreciated the timing of stops for photo and restroom opportunities.

4.00Since we arrived in Auckland around 7:00am , and we could not check in to our hotel until after noon , this 10:00am tour of the city fit in just nicely. Our guide Paul was very knowledgeable and fun and made it a nice excursion. It’s a bus tour with a couple stops to get out and take pictures and a bathroom break /snack break and one good stop at a crater and view of the city below where you can stretch your legs and take a walk up to the top and get some great views and nice pictures

1.00Auckland City Tours almost forgot to pick us up at our meeting point. It took 2 international phone calls to contact this tour company. They stated that where we were waiting at was not in their route. I told them that they were the ones who provided the address via email. We missed 30 min of the city tour since they have to pick us up close to the city tour route.

5.00This is a great tour to show you around the city! Recommend doin this early in your stay in Auckland so that you can plan to go back to places showcased in the tour. Very cool that we got to see so many calderas. Was a great tour with a great guide despite the rain!

5.00Outstanding tour with John! We learned so much about the Aukland area and saw very many things of interest. John was a wealth of information and knowledge of New Zealand. Our favorite stop lwas at Mount Eden where we walked up to the top of this volcano crater with wonderful panoramic views of Aukland. I would highly recommend this tour for any visitor.
