There is some access to the bus, if you have a Walker or a Wheelchair, but these items must be folded. There is a small step. There are handles each side of the door to help.
Strollers must be foldable.
In consideration of other guests, if you are un-well, please do not participate on the tour. I will refund.

What To Expect
Ferry Building
Our main pick up point is alongside the Ferry Building on Queens Wharf. There's a pick-up & drop off area, that's the spot. Alternatively, we offer 4 central pick-up locations. Let us know where you are staying and we will advise the closest pick-up point. This is a very comprehensive tour and we pack a lot into the 3.5 to 4 hours. You will get a real feel for Auckland. It's geography, history, sights, and our way of life. This tour is family run, and the commentary is detailed, full of insights from a local perspective and delivered with humor.
Viaduct Harbour
We drive along the downtown waterfront area, past the Viaduct Harbour, which is one of Auckland top "going out" spots. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Lots of boats, and home to the America's Cup yachts, and Whale & Dolphin watching boats

5.00Easy and on time pick up from the Princess Wharf. Smooth ride through the bridge and surrounding historic neighborhoods. Quick stop for lunch. Mount Eden comfortable hiking to the top was the highlight during our beautiful sunny day. Josh was very detailed oriented and organized.

5.00Bring an umbrella. Wear comfy walking shoes. Dress in layers. There is a lunch stop at a great cafe so don’t worry about bringing lunch but you may need to bring water. Our driver, Josh, was great. Very proficient driver very personable and knowledgeable.

5.00We had a fantastic tour today (6/2/26). Our guide was Josh - and what an absolutely gem of a guide he was. He was full of knowledge, adding his own personal experiences to his commentary. We were transported in a comfortable small bus (18 guests), which made for an intimate tour. Ample time was allowed at the various stops to take in the awesome views. A great way to see many of the places of interest in Auckland. Highly recommend Auckland City Tours. Well done Josh.

3.00Tour covered a lot of stops (some interesting; some not so much); Too many coffee stops. I didn't care for the style of tour bus - my wife and I could not sit together and had to deal with limited foot room due to the wheel well in the floorboard. It was difficult to see what the guide was talking about when sitting in the back part of the bus.
Get to see things you might not see if you went on your own and had only 4 hours...
