There is some access to the bus, if you have a Walker or a Wheelchair, but these items must be folded. There is a small step. There are handles each side of the door to help.

What To Expect

Ferry Building

Our main pick up point is alongside the Ferry Building on Queens Wharf. There's a pick-up & drop off area, that's the spot. Alternatively, we offer 4 central pick-up locations. Let us know where you are staying and we will advise the closest pick-up point. This is a very comprehensive tour and we pack a lot into the 3.5 to 4 hours. You will get a real feel for Auckland. It's geography, history, sights, and our way of life. This tour is family run, and the commentary is detailed, full of insights from a local perspective and delivered with humor.

Viaduct Harbour

We drive along the downtown waterfront area, past the Viaduct Harbour, which is one of Auckland top "going out" spots. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Lots of boats, and home to the America's Cup yachts, and Whale & Dolphin watching boats

The tour was excellent showing us parts of Auckland that we would never have visited by ourselves. Josh our driver and guide was excellent. His history, knowledge and humour was brilliant. If he was unsure of something he would check it. Saw good views of the bridge, Eden dormant volcano and other interesting places and beaches. The group wasn’t to big, just right. Would recommend this tour.

Very informative day. The tour went at a good pace and the tour guide didn’t overwhelm you with information. The places we stopped at for pictures were perfect!!! Wonderful way to get an overview and feel for the city! Great job!!!

Fantastic half-day overview of Auckland! This tour is perfect if you’re short on time but still want to see the city’s main highlights in a comfortable and efficient way. The pick-up was smooth, and having a knowledgeable guide made a big difference — the commentary added great context to everything we saw. The absolute highlight for me was Mount Eden. The breathtaking 360-degree views over Auckland are simply unforgettable. Seeing the skyline, the harbours, and the surrounding landscapes all at once really puts the city into perspective. It’s a must-see spot and definitely a photo opportunity you don’t want to miss. Driving over the Harbour Bridge and stopping along Mission Bay were also great additions to the experience. Overall, a very well-organized tour that gives you a comprehensive snapshot of Auckland in just a few hours. Highly recommend for first-time visitors!

Absolutely 1st class tour. Our driver/guide was Josh & he was absolutely fantastic. He was full of interesting facts & stories and kept us entertained throughout. Easy and on time pick up from the Princess Wharf. Smooth ride through the bridge and surrounding historic neighborhoods. Quick stop for lunch. Mount Eden comfortable hiking to the top was the highlight during our beautiful sunny day. Josh was very detailed oriented and organized.

Bring an umbrella. Wear comfy walking shoes. Dress in layers. There is a lunch stop at a great cafe so don’t worry about bringing lunch but you may need to bring water. Our driver, Josh, was great. Very proficient driver very personable and knowledgeable.
