There is some access to the bus, if you have a Walker or a Wheelchair, but these items must be folded. There is a small step. There are handles each side of the door to help.

What To Expect

Ferry Building

Our main pick up point is alongside the Ferry Building on Queens Wharf. There's a pick-up & drop off area, that's the spot. Alternatively, we offer 4 central pick-up locations. Let us know where you are staying and we will advise the closest pick-up point. This is a very comprehensive tour and we pack a lot into the 3.5 to 4 hours. You will get a real feel for Auckland. It's geography, history, sights, and our way of life. This tour is family run, and the commentary is detailed, full of insights from a local perspective and delivered with humor.

Viaduct Harbour

We drive along the downtown waterfront area, past the Viaduct Harbour, which is one of Auckland top "going out" spots. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Lots of boats, and home to the America's Cup yachts, and Whale & Dolphin watching boats

The tour guide/driver, John, was able to provide a great tour using his knowledge of the areas we visited for an entertaining tour. I highly recommend this tour for a better understanding about the Auckland area.

Andrew our driver was a lovely young g man. However as a guide he was disappointing. His knowledge of the places we visited was very minimal. When we got into the car he said we were going hiking ! This wasn’t was in the itinerary at all. There was an older lady with us and she could t manage it at all and at Mount Eden just had to stay at the visitors centre . We asked to go to the winter garden which he did accommodate and this was the highlight of the tour for me. We were on the cruise ship and said we had to be back by 7;00 and he said that it was probably possible! ( we did get back in time) For the price of the tour we were disappointed.

Josh was a great guide and was very knowledgeable of the area taking us to some awesome spots. Sky tower - Great tip about going to the Skybar (min spend $40pp - used for food and 🍻) with free entry rather than paying $47 just for the view. Weather was poor which is why I dropped star rating to 4.

A great way to get an overview and introduction to Auckland. Our tour guide Josh, was a wealth of information, very friendly with a great sense of humour. This certainly made the tour more enjoyable. We had a few stops along the way, and there were plenty of opportunities for photos. Also a short stop for coffee about half way through. Overall a very relaxed and informative tour, a very good way to start a holiday n Auckland.

Brilliant tour, Josh was knowledgeable about all the areas we drove by and visited. Friendly, knowledgeable and great humour too. We saw Auckland from lots of different vantage points; which was great. Auckland is a lovely city to visit.
