What To Expect
On this tour you will visit authentic reindeer farm outside of Rovaniemi and enjoy unforgettable 2km sleigh ride through the snowy forests. Professional photographer is guiding the tour and makes sure you get the most memorable photos taken and sent to your email afterwards! For this tour we have carefully chosen local reindeer farm, which is booked for our small-groups only to ensure the exclusivity. You will hear some stories of reindeer herding from local family and get to feed and meet the reindeers after the sled ride. You will be also served some freshly made crepes and coffee/tea/hot chocolate after the program. This is the only reindeer farm visit in Rovaniemi from which you will receive professional, edited pictures as a memory to highlight your amazing journey here in Lapland.

5.00It's a lot of fun to do. Certainly the time to feed the animals is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And luckily our day wasn't very cold because that might be very different -20°c

5.00We had a wonderful experience today at the reindeer farm. Our guide and photographer were great and the sleigh ride was magical. It was great to hearing information about the reindeers and getting to warm up after the ride with hot chocolate and a snack. Our kids loved every minute and would definitely recommend.

5.00My first reindeer ride. Our tour guide/photographer took great photos. I decided to go directly to the office as meeting point. The staffs were friendly and kind. They checked whether my winter clothes were enough to warm me. If not, there were winter clothes available in their office. Then our tour guide drove us to reindeer farm. The sceneries with the snow were very nice. We had the reindeer ride around 30 mins. Then we fed the reindeers. The owner of the farm is very kind. They served us pancake and hot drinks. They shared information about reindeers. It was a great experience. Many thanks Elja, our tour guide.

5.00This trip takes you about 1 hours outside of Roveniemi into a beatiful forest which contains the beautiful family owned reindeer ranch. This is a picturesque setting, perfect for your photos. The reindeer are gentle and very handsome. The sleighs were rustic, yet comfortable. The sleighs ride was over 1 mile long through the forest. Very safe and peaceful. Fedsing and petting the reindeer was encouraged and we enjoyed that too. The post-ride crepes and hit drink were yummy.. This was an ideal experience. Our guide was cool.

5.00My niece and I did several tours in Rovaniemi and Levi, Finland. Both of us rated the local reindeer farm in Lapland the top of four excursions (dogsledding, ice chipper boat and float, snowmobiling and reindeer sledding. We smiled the whole time as we went sliding through the beautiful forest. We never would have guessed this particular excursion would give us so much pleasure. After the forest trip, we got a chance to pet and feed the reindeer. The additional pluses were that they picked us up (and returned us) from our lodging; gave us proper cold weather clothing, in case people didn't quite come THAT prepared! Gave us drink, crepes and lingon berries as they gave us a presentation enlightening their guests on the herds of reindeer in Finland. People had a chance to buy a keepsake in their gift shop on the farm before returning to Rovaniemi. They took professional pictures (without charge) which guests could download a few days after the excursion. Those are some of the reasons for our top choice but mainly it was pure relaxation and entertaining.

5.00Very peaceful and cosy going through the snow track. We fed the gentle reindeers after the walk then had a warm drink and crepe with homemade jam in the wooden hut that was warmed with a fire in the middle of the hut. Very informative entertaining pleasant hosts. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

5.00Wonderful authentic trip in the heart of what felt like an enchanted forest! It’s a family run reminder farm and I was so pleased we chose this trip. It wasn’t commercialised which we really enjoyed. The family were so friendly and told us lots about the reindeers.
