What To Expect
West Lake (Xi Hu)
Meet up your friendly private guide at your Hangzhou hotel or Railway Station in the morning or afternoon and have a short discussion with your guide for your things to do list. Then hop-on the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your exciting half-day journey. You can either following the sample itinerary or go with your 100% customized itinerary. Typically, you will visit West Lake, appreciate the fresh lake scenery, and see the beautiful landscapes of some famous attractions like Su Causeway, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Colored Port View Fish Garden and others by take a relaxing boat ride.

5.00I booked a half-day tour to discover the highlights of Hangzhou with my two teenagers (ages 13 & 15). We spent a fantastic day with Lily, our guide, and our driver. Lily helped us plan the day's visits according to our wishes. She suggested additional places to see and organized exciting, interactive visits. We had the most vivid memories there!!! Lily is knowledgeable and shared her love for Hangzhou with us, always taking care of our comfort and doing her best to help us enjoy local specialties. Our driver was great: a large and immaculate car with AC. He drove us safely and was always right on time to pick us up. Alana was our WhatsApp contact who made sure everything went smoothly between us and our guide. She followed the experience proactively from A to Z. Her online presence was very reassuring. Don’t hesitate to book this experience: you are in good hands! Surprises and great memories are around the corner.

5.00I did the afternoon tour with WenWen as we did a day trip from Shanghai which included Gongyan imperial lunch in Hangzhou (highly recommend). Pickup was at 2 pm, original itinerary was WestLake tour with boat ride, tea plantation, and Heifang historic area. We ended up nixing tea tour but Wenwen and the driver were so accommodating of my wife and kids being tired. Every step of the way she was very thoughtful and has a wealth of knowledge on Hangzhou and Chinese history. In the end we had to leave back to Shanghai earlier than anticipated and she helped us change the train tickets. Highly recommend Wenwen!

5.00If there's one word to describe this operator, I'll just say 'excellent'. Lulu our guide is not only knowledgeable but her planning is great, speeding up at areas when she sensed boredom, but diving into details when she saw much interest in my group. Having said that, the operator even extended our half day to a full day tour just to accommodate all the spots which we wanted to see. Highly recommended operator!!

5.00We’ve been lucky with the season, weather, tea harvesting time as well. But that would not work without the local guide which was just amazing: educated, polite, listening the questions and having great understanding of the local life.

5.00Lin was a delightful and thoughtful guide on our tour of Hangzhou. It was interesting to hear about the history and the stories of these key sites as well as learn more about the culture (both past and present). She tailored the tour to our needs and interests and was flexible with last minute changes/requests during the tour. She also helped me get some tea and silk shopping done at my request. I’m so glad she was with me as I would have struggled to communicate what I was looking for on my own. My father and I really enjoyed our time with Lin. We highly recommend her.
