  Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Grenada and the culture. We saw the Fort, the waterfall, learned how chocolate was made, swam at the beach, learned about the spices and got to hold a monkey. It was so amazing!

  We saw Annandale Falls; some people swam. We also made some stops alongside the road at small kiosk type spots. One stop was at a place that had various spice trees and sold spices. Another was a little rum stop. We stopped at the Etang Lake too. We also went to Fort Frederick and had an opportunity to takes pictures from a great viewpoint. Last stop was Grand Anse Beach which was beautiful and offered shade under sea grape trees.

  We were greeted at the Port by Dexter, who was our driver/guide throughout the day. He took us to Annandale Falls, Grand Etang National Park and Fort Frederick. He was extremely friendly, courteous and spoke with passion about his island, its produce and its history. He then took us to Grand Anse Beach for some light lunch, swimming and sunbathing on an idyllic beach before returning to our ship. We would thoroughly recommend this trip to anybody wanting to get a small slice of the island on a cruise day stop. Many thanks to Dexter for his time spent with us, giving us a greater understanding of Grenada, its heritage and its people.

  Amazing private tour of Grenada! Our guide was so friendly, warm, and professional. Our favorite was spending time at Annandale falls and swimming in Anse beach at the end. She even agreed to leave us at the beach for a couple of hours and drive us back to the cruise port after. She was very patient when we wanted to spend extra time in some places and shared about the history of the island and local communities. Having a private tour was perfect because we could customize it. I'm only sad we didn't get to see any Mona monkeys at grand etang lake. If you're interested in that specifically it may be better to book a tour that specializes more in that. All in all an excellent experience!!

  It was great to spend time in Grenada with Peter our driver who has lived on the Island all his life, he was very friendly and knowledge. We visited Annandale Falls to watch the guys who jump from a great height into the water, we learned about the spices of the island and tasted them very interesting. Tried some rum in an authentic shack it is potent stuff 😀 The rainforest , lake and look out point is beautiful with a chance to see the monkeys. Great half day tour and the drive is scenic with lots of photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend.

  My husband and I took this tour in early November. Our host, Mr Dexter, took us on a lovely tour of the island on a dreary and rainy day. We were still able to sample local spices and rum punch, visit a lake in an ancient caldera, and see the lovely waterfalls. We skipped the beach and instead he found a pleasant restaurant right on a bay with views of the water where we could choose to have lunch. Our conveyance was a van, and the eight passengers were very comfortable. One extra note that I didn't really appreciate enough until we visited another island: We were offered an opportunity to take a picture with a local monkey. I declined for several reasons, but now I am looking at this experience a little differently and want to comment on it. This monkey was in no way a captive. He is part of a local family of monkeys who live in the area and have discovered that if they come up to this man who has worked with them, they will have a pleasant interaction with friendly humans and also have some banana treats. There is no coercion. The monkeys appear and leave as they please. The man who works with them does not demand money for the photos or for his time. We are told that the monkeys are vaccinated by the local veterinary college students, and this monkey was gentle and obviously happy to be with us. Our experience on another island, a few days later, with baby monkeys being used as props for tourist pictures really put this in perspective for me. I highly recommend this tour.

  We had a fun time driving to the spice shop, waterfall and other places. Everyone was so friendly. Our driver, Peter, told us about the areas we were driving through. We had been thinking of renting a car but it was much better to relax and just enjoy the drive
